Industry-government-school cooperation looks forward to the development of students from East College in the International Wine mixing Competition in Japan.

Two students from the Catering and Tourism Department of National Taitung College, Cai Weiting and Chen Dingyuan, will use Taitung local wine to represent Taiwan to participate in Japan's 13th Ryukyu Paosheng International Wine mixing Competition on March 12. In order to provide a stage for students to show themselves, the Taitung county government will sponsor a round-trip air ticket for the participating students. And invited Taitung College, Shengguomiduo Co., Ltd. and Quhe winery and other wine manufacturers to jointly hold "Taitung County to participate in the 2017 Japanese" Minister of Foreign Affairs "Cup International Wine Competition-pre-competition Press Conference. County Mayor Huang Jianting affirmed the mode of industry-government-university cooperation, hoped that the contestants would return home with success, and looked forward to the emergence of Taitung" millet wine "and" plum wine "on the Japanese international wine mixing stage.

The competition has a history of 13 years since 2003, and bartenders from many Asian countries compete to participate in the competition every year. At the end of last year, the Catering and Tourism Department of National Taitung College was led by instructor Zou Huifen to lead students to participate in the 2016 Taiwan Golden bottle International Creative Wine mixing Competition, which won many awards by selecting Taitung characteristic millet wine as one of the wine materials. and won the qualification to participate in the Ryukyu Paosheng International Wine mixing Competition, which was highly concerned by the county government and Taitung wine makers as soon as the news came out. Taitung College and two wine manufacturers were invited to hold a pre-trip press conference for the participating students to show their wine-blending skills.

Huang Jianting, the county magistrate, said that this time, the county government pulled strings to invite two local winemakers, San Guomiduo Co., Ltd., and Quhe winery, to cooperate with the Food and Beverage Department of Eastern College, which can be said to be the best mode of industry-government-school cooperation in Taitung. In addition to those who are happy to take the initiative to jointly sponsor drinks, they will be provided free of charge to the participating students for pre-competition practice and competition use. What's more, I would like to thank he Jiechen, Chairman of Shengguomiduo Co., Ltd., and Liao Kunlang, Chairman of Quhe Winery, for promising to subsidize students to participate in competitions and other administrative expenses, and even if there is a wine presentation or food exhibition in the future, they are willing to provide catering students with working opportunities. Students will apply what they have learned to prepare cocktails on site, which will also help the exhibition to be visible and attract tourists' attention.
