Taiwan's first TTMAKER won the Smart City Innovation and Application Award
In recent years, the Taitung County government has promoted the success of the smart city. In order to highlight the characteristics of local construction, this year, the "TTMAKER Taitung Creator Park" competed for the fourth Innovation and Application Award. After the initial examination and review, it stood out after fierce competition. This time, it participated in the field of "intelligent industry" and created a "dryland new Silicon Valley" model for Taitung industry. It not only created the first successful case of industry-government-school cooperation in Taiwan. This is also the honor that Lianzhuang, the Taitung county government, won for three years. County Mayor Huang Jianting specially went north on the 21st to take over the honor of the 2017 Smart City Exhibition at the Nangang Exhibition Hall of the Taipei World Trade Center by President Tsai ing-wen. It has been proved that apart from good mountains, good water and good air, Taitung is also the first choice for many young people to start businesses.
The county magistrate Huang Jianting also shared the experience of the government in opening up the experimental field, promoting the construction of smart cities and developing new urban undertakings, which won a deep impression and warm response from the guests.
The National Planning Office points out that TT MAKER in Taitung Creator Park is the first successful case of industry-government-school cooperation in Taiwan, which differs from the public space of other innovative platforms in that it has a complete "health, upbringing, teaching, and construction" mechanism.
