Fangfeng, perennial herbs, which like cool climate, cold-resistant, drought-resistant, mainly produced in Hebei, Heilongjiang, Sichuan, Inner Mongolia and other places. The root of Fangfeng can be used. Taste pungent, sweet, sexual lukewarm. It has the effect of dispelling wind and relieving surface, winning dampness and relieving pain, and relieving spasm. This article introduces the planting technology of traditional Chinese medicine Fangfeng:

Plant morphology:

The height of Fangfeng plant is 30cm to 80cm. Doubly branched from base to tip. Leaf blade pinnately divided, lobes narrowly long. Compound umbels have many white florets, which lag behind and grow into a hanging fruit, oval. The root is long and corklike, growing vertically, the outer skin is yellowish brown, with longitudinal wrinkles and protruding bumps, and the root head has dense fine rings. The flowering period is from July to August and the fruiting period is from August to October.

Growth habits:

Like warm and humid environment, cold-resistant, for overwintering in the field, the general soil can be planted, to loose and fertile sandy soil grows better.

Cultivation management:

Seed breeding, spring sowing and autumn sowing are fine. Autumn sowing Fangfeng solid, powdery, no trench, good quality. Spring sowing is carried out from Qingming Festival to Grain Rain, it is best to sow seeds above the daily average temperature of 18 degrees, and the ground must be kept wet before emergence. The sowing rate is about 3-4 kg per mu. Sow according to the row spacing of 25 cm, draw 1 cm shallow ditch, cultivate the land should be deep ploughing and preparation, and apply circle fertilizer with base fertilizer, and then make the bed.

Propagation with seedlings, spring sowing, 80-120 kg per mu.

Field management:

Fangfeng sown in autumn should be poured with frozen water before freezing, and covered with a layer of livestock manure or manure after freezing to keep warm through the winter. after thawing in the second year, smash and hold the fire dung before germination, and water it clearly. The soil should not be loosened too deep in the seedling stage. The period from the Beginning of Summer to the Beginning of Autumn is the peak season for windproof growth, so ploughing should be stopped to prevent root injury. But at this time, it is necessary to adapt to topdressing oil fertilizer or phosphate fertilizer, and increase the watering times after fertilization. Stop watering when it is about to wither. The Fangfeng planted in that year does not blossom and bear fruit, and each needs to be planted in its own line.

Pest control:

Root rot is easy to occur in low-lying stagnant water in rainy season. The larvae of Phoenix butterflies are harmful to tender leaves. Ground tigers and grubs bite the roots and are sprayed with 1500 times of the solution.

Harvest processing:

Cold Dew planed the harvest in the second year of autumn sowing. The spring sowing is harvested after the stems and leaves have withered. After digging up the plant, remove the stems and leaves, shake off the clay, dry it and use it as medicine. Yield 300-350 kg per mu of dry products.
