1. The main diseases of Platycodon grandiflorum are ring disease and spot blight, which are related to high planting density, high temperature and humidity. In the summer season of high temperature and high humidity, the field drainage should be strengthened and the field humidity should be reduced to reduce the disease. At the initial stage of the disease, 1 ∶ 1 ∶ 100 Bordeaux solution, 65% Dysen zinc 600x solution, 50% carbendazim, 1000 times carbendazim solution or 50% methyl thiophanate solution were sprayed once every 15 days for 3 consecutive times.

Second, the main pests of Platycodon grandiflorum are aphids and small tigers.

1. Aphids can be sprayed with 50% dichlorvos 1000 murine 1500 times or 40% dimethoate 1500 Mel 2000 times or 5% fenitrothion 1000 Mel 2000 times for control, 7 Mel once every 10 days, and 2 Mel 3 times in a row.

2. When the small land tiger is harmful, use 50% phoxim 250 muri 300ml per mu and mix 15kg of moist fine soil to make poisonous soil, or use 250g of 90% trichlorfon crystal and 5kg of cottonseed cake mixed with an appropriate amount of water to make poison bait and spread it on the rhizosphere in the evening for control.
