1. Disease

Rust: it is the main disease of Fritillaria thunbergii. Most of the diseases come from wheat crops. Most of them occur from May to June. Control methods: select the land far away from wheat crops or not easy to be attacked by the river wind; remove the disease and residual tissue during soil preparation to reduce the source of overwintering disease; increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer or reduce the field humidity to enhance disease resistance; spraying 0.2 Baomedu stone sulfur mixture or 97% dichlorodium 300-fold solution at the initial stage of the disease can also be prevented and treated with benzoate or bacilli.

Blight: harms seedlings. It occurs in the rainy season of the wheat season. Prevention and treatment methods: pay attention to drainage, adjust the shade degree, remove the shed cover on overcast and rainy days, and spray with Bordeaux solution of 1-1-1-1-100 before and after the attack.

Root rot disease occurs from May to June, and the root hair is yellow and rotten. Prevention and control methods: pay attention to drainage, reduce soil moisture, pull out diseased plants; irrigation with 5% lime water to prevent spread.

Sunburn: the leaves, petioles and stems of diseased plants near the ground are burned and necrosed by soil. Prevention and control methods: cover the land with straw fragments before the rainy season; when it is found that the leaves are contaminated by soil, they should be washed in time.

Sclerotinia disease: the injured bulb produces black spots, and when it is serious, the whole bulb blackens, in which black sclerotia of different sizes are formed, and the aboveground parts wither. Control methods: rotation; high-border planting; fertilizer fully mature. The diseased plants were immediately removed and disinfected with lime, and then the roots were irrigated with 1000 times of carbendazim wettable powder to prevent the further spread of undiseased plants.

2. Insect pests

Golden needle worms and grubs: damage to plants from April to June. Prevention methods: irrigation with boiling water of tobacco leaves (2.5 kg of tobacco leaves per mu, boiled into 75 kg of raw liquid, and 30 kg of water per mu); or 0.5-1 kg of 50% chlordane EC per mu, mixed with soil during soil preparation or 500 kg of water after emergence.

Ground tiger: bites on stems and leaves. Prevention and control method: catch or kill with 90% crystal trichlorfon mixed with poison bait sooner or later.

Wild slugs: harm plants. Prevention and control methods: artificial trapping and killing; can be sprayed with 3% lime water or 70% 100 times ammonia water in the evening.
