Chiayi County Health Bureau continues to inspect the overdue remanufactured products of oil from the far East.

Chiayi County Health Bureau continues to inspect the overdue remanufactured products of oil from the far East.

Chiayi County Health Bureau and Institute all mobilized on March 13 and formed an inspection team at 7: 00 a.m. to check whether the products of far East oil using expired raw materials were completely removed from the shelves in order to ensure the safety of consumers' food. A total of 82 shops were inspected. Eight of them have put the used far East oil products down to the company for recycling, and the quantity to be recovered is 54.56 kilograms.

When the Chiayi County Health Bureau inspected the hygiene of the breakfast shop conditioning and selling places at the same time, it was found that the food materials in the frozen storage were not covered and preserved, the instant cooked food was not worn with gloves, and the staff wore accessories, and the industry was ordered to correct them immediately.

The inspection team also inspected mid-market traders, supermarkets, baking industry, catering industry and so on. On the 13th, there were 82 breakfast shops, 66 selling industries, 32 baking industries, 5 catering industries and 1 manufacturing industry, totaling 186, and 102.09kg was taken off the shelves.

Chiayi County Health Bureau will continue to inspect and supervise operators to take off the shelves to ensure that there are no illegal products on the market, and call on food manufacturers to stop manufacturing, processing and selling immediately in accordance with Article 7 of the Food Safety and Hygiene Management Law, and to handle recycling, and notify the health authorities that if illegal products are still sold or used, they will be fined NT $30, 000 to NT $3 million in accordance with Article 47 of the Law.

Chiayi County Health Bureau also called on the public to inform the Health Bureau immediately if they still use the above products during consumption to ensure the safety of food for the public.
