The professional trade union of horticulture and flower industry in Taipei displays its skills in full blossom.

The Taipei Horticulture and Flower Industry Professional Union held a "Spring Banquet" at Xingliangdian Garden Hotel yesterday (22), featuring excellent activities and excellent floral skills.

The Taipei Municipal Bureau of Labor encourages trade unions to upgrade and cultivate professional skills for their members. Flower unions provide long-term vocational skills training courses and take the initiative to provide a stage for teachers and students to promote professionalism and stable employment. It also achieves the effect of skill inheritance. It has been 33 years since the establishment of the Taipei Horticulture and Flower Industry Professional Trade Union in 1973, and it has been affirmed 11 times by the excellent trade union in Taipei. Since 1999, it has been undertaking the Jinma Branch of the Labor Development Department of the Ministry of Labor. This year, it has entered its eighth year, with nearly 20 classes and about 600 students. Members shine in the exhibitions and competitions of "2010 Taipei International Flower Expo", "2011 Taiwan Flower Show", "2012 Flower Show", "2013 Taipei Flower installation Art Exhibition", "2014 Winter Flower Show" and "Golden Cup Flower Design Regional Competition".

The Taipei Municipal Labor Bureau conducts the selection of excellent workers in Taipei. In order to encourage workers with superior skills, outstanding performance and skill inheritance, an award for excellent skills has been added since 105. this year (106) the trade union has wood industry professional trade union, electrical installation industry, women's perm professional trade union and other trade unions have skilled members to participate in the election. The Labour Bureau encourages trade unions to hold relevant activities and training through the model of flower unions in the future, so as to promote more workers to upgrade their skills through the concept of passing on fire.
