Introduction to the planting technology of bergamot
1. Planting:
Planting site selection and land preparation: choose sandy loam with black sand mud with sufficient sunshine and convenient drainage and irrigation, preferably surrounded by horseshoe-shaped topography on three sides, gentle slope land within 15 °, or flat land. The planting ground should be ridged high. Before planting, it is necessary to turn deep into the autumn and winter of the previous year, after weathering and ripening, open the four drainage ditches, and then form a border with a height of 30 cm 40 cm and a width of 1.3 cm 1.4 m (border ditch 30 cm 40 cm), and then dig large holes of 50 cm in depth and 60 cm in width, pile the heart soil and topsoil separately, apply 30 kg of mature organic fertilizer as base fertilizer, mix well and wait for planting.
two。 Planting season:
It can be planted in both spring and autumn, but when the temperature rises from February to March, it is better to transplant when the new buds are about to germinate, the spring cold is too early, the seedlings have sprouted too late, and the survival rate is low.
3. Planting density:
The row spacing of bergamot is (2 × 2.5) m × (2.5 × 3.0) m, that is, 140 × 100 plants per mu. If you use the corner of the field to plant sporadic idle land, you can plant more densely.
4. Planting method:
After cuttage or grafted seedlings are cultivated for a year, it is better for seedlings with a height of more than 50 cm, stout without diseases and insect pests, cut off branches, leaving only one trunk, root length not more than 20 cm, too long can be cut short, easy to plant. When planting, the topsoil dug out in the hole is first put under the hole, and then add fence compost, compost and so on as base fertilizer, and then add a small amount of soil after mixing. Plant a seedling in each hole, straighten it, spread the fibrous root around, step on it with fine soil bacon, finally cover the soil slightly higher than the ground, water it after planting, and then cultivate some soil. The soil should always be kept moist after planting.
