Thistle is an annual herb, medicinal seed, which has the function of light heat and detoxification, protecting liver and gallbladder. It does not choose soil conditions and has strong ability to resist drought and cold. It was planted in spring and harvested in autumn that year, and the management was simple and the benefit was good.

First, the plant height of thistle is about 1 meter, flowering from June to July, fruit from July to August, sun-loving plants, and general soil can grow.

Second, the direct broadcast between Ching Ming Festival and the beginning of summer, according to the row spacing of 30 cm, draw a shallow ditch 2 cm deep, sow the seeds evenly, cover the soil flat, and slightly suppress, if the land is wet but not watered, before planting, it is better to soak the seeds for one day and mix them with wet sand for 2-3 days before sowing, so that the seedlings emerge quickly and neatly.

Third, when the seedling height is 6-10 cm, the seedling should be planted with a plant distance of 20-30 cm or due to the ground. After planting, chemical fertilizer can be applied to promote the growth, generally using 10-15 kg urea per mu, and spraying with potassium dihydrogen phosphate at the same time, once every 15 days, for 3 times in a row to increase fruit weight. Attention should be paid to watering in drought and drainage in rainy season.

Fourth, the fruit ripens one after another from August to September, and the seeds are harvested and dried to lay down the seeds.
