Taipei Mayor Ko Wenzhe signs MOU with Thailand Creative Design Center
The Taipei delegation led by Taipei Mayor Ko Wenzhe visited the Thai Creative Design Center (TCDC) on the afternoon of the 28th and signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOU) with Thailand. Mayor Ke Wen-Tseh expressed the hope that this will enable the Taipei Songyan Cultural creation Park to establish contact and exchange with the Thai Creative Design Center, which will be conducive to the development of cultural and creative industries in the two countries.
At the beginning of his speech, Mayor Ko Wen-Tseh expressed his gratitude to Thailand for allowing the Taipei delegation to see it before the official opening of the Creative Design Center. He said that the Songyan Cultural Innovation Park under the Taipei City Cultural Foundation is the most important cultural and creative industrial zone in Taiwan. in view of the fact that the space is almost used, the base most likely to be expanded is the Taipei Machinery Factory, so the delegation has a very important purpose, that is, by signing MOU, we first set up a contact channel.
Mayor Ko Wenzhe said that TCDC is the most important cultural and creative base in Thailand, and Taipei Songyan Cultural and Creative Park is also the most important cultural and creative base in Taiwan. The establishment of a platform for cooperation between the most important cultural and creative bases in the two countries should be beneficial to the development of both sides, so Taipei City is very happy to sign such a cooperation agreement. In fact, it is impossible to see any creative design in a short time. After signing a cooperation agreement, In the future, we can continue to exchange talents, designers or exhibitions, which is helpful to the development of cultural and creative industries in both countries.
The Taipei delegation attended the Taipei Tourism Night (FUN Taipei Night In Bangkok) in Bangkok, Thailand on the evening of the 28th. In addition to cultural performances in Taipei and Thailand, there were also 2017 promotional activities for the Northern Universiade. Mayor Ko Wen-Tseh and Thai beauty pageant Chen Taili sang "the Moon represents my Heart" together, setting off the best part of the event.
