The "Taichung Meili Promotion meeting" was held yesterday by the Taichung Municipal Government, the Shanghai Bank Science, Technology, Culture and Education Foundation, the Taichung Branch of the Green Fruit Transportation and Marketing Cooperative of Taiwan Province, and Chung Hsing University, and other units in Tokyo, Japan, to display delicious litchi on the spot. and dim sum made of litchi, let Japanese friends taste the delicacy of Taichung agricultural products.

Taichung Municipal Bureau of Agriculture said that Zhuo Yongcai, chairman of Shanghai Bank Science and Technology, bought 1450 cases and 2175 kilograms of Taichung litchi from the Qingguo Transportation and Marketing Cooperative to promote them in Japan. This batch of litchi uses the technology of preserving color and preventing water loss of litchi developed by Chung Hsing University to solve the problem of color fading caused by the fact that lychees are sold to Japan because they have to go through steaming treatment, so as to make litchi look better.

In addition, the Bureau of Agriculture also held litchi marketing activities on the Liuchuan waterfront in Taichung, and today it will be held at the National Public Information Library. Two activities will be held on the spot to sell agricultural special products such as Taichung black leaf litchi, domestic non-genetically modified soybeans, Taiwan wheat, Xinshe coffee, Dongshifengshui pear, and Waipu Huolongguo. Litchi tasting activities were arranged on the spot, and litchi-related drinks were launched to increase the added value of litchi.
