At that time, it will increase many foreign tourists with Hualien as the key tourist area, prolong their stay, invigorate the Hualien tourist market, and also make it more convenient for Hualien people to go abroad.

Peng Weizong, acting director of the tourism office, said that the general agent of Thai Airlines in Taiwan, together with the director of the board of directors, visited the county government in Hualien on February 8 this year (106). The two sides jointly discussed the "Bangkok-Hualien" direct charter flight with Secretary General Yan Xinzhang, and the two sides reached a preliminary consensus. After many consultations, we finally reached a consensus on direct flights between Hualien and Bangkok, marketing Hualien internationally, hoping to promote sightseeing tourism and business exchanges through convenient transportation channels, promote the political development of Hualien County, invigorate the Hualien tourism market, and benefit local villagers.
