1. The loam or sandy loam with high topography and good drainage, sunny gentle slope (slope 515 degrees) or uncultivated land should be selected for land preparation and planting. Ploughing is carried out many times in autumn, with a depth of about 40 cm, and then 3 ploughs and 3 rakes to make the soil weathered. Panax notoginseng was planted in Sichuan and burned on the border before ploughing in order to increase soil nutrients and eliminate diseases and insect pests. At the same time, soil disinfection was carried out in combination with soil preparation. Then, the construction of Panax notoginseng garden, each with an area of 2 mu, is made into a rectangle, 20-30 meters wide, 60-70 meters long, and 3-4 meters apart between each garden, which is beneficial to air circulation and convenient for field management.

2. To set up a shade shed, Panax notoginseng and shade should be built for artificial cultivation. The height of the shed is 1.5 Mel 1.8 meters, the length of the standing pile is 2 mi 2.3 meters, and the soil is 50 cm. A row of piles is erected in the middle of each row, and a pile is planted every 2 meters, and a side shed is set up around it, and a half-movable garden door is opened on the downwind side, which is used to adjust the humidity in the shed. The shed materials are made from local materials, and the precast strips of wood or cement are generally used as shed posts. The roof of the shed is made of iron wire as a crossbeam, and then woven into a square with bamboo to lay the roof. Used to adjust shade or transmittance. Then, apply enough basic fertilizer, plough and rake once more, and then make the bed. The border is 1.3 meters wide and 30-40 cm high. The border surface is shaped into the back of a tortoise.

3. Transplanting can be divided into winter planting and spring planting. It is better to be planted in winter, and one-year-old seedlings are used in winter planting, which are usually transplanted from late November to December and completed before dormant buds germinate. First of all, dig up the seedlings carefully so as not to hurt the roots. Then, planting according to the grades of large, medium and small is beneficial to the neat emergence of seedlings and easy to manage. Before planting, cut off the yellow leaves of the seedlings, soak the seeds in 1VR-1RV-200 Bordeaux solution for 15 minutes, or soak the seeds with 0.3-degree stone-sulfur mixture for 10 minutes, take out and dry before planting. When planting, on the whole planting ground, according to the large, medium and small seedlings, the holes were opened according to the row spacing of 17 × 17 cm, 17 × 13 cm and 13 × 13 cm, respectively. The depth of the hole was 3 cm, and one seedling of Panax notoginseng was placed in each hole. Put the bud head downhill in the hole. On flat ground, horizontal ditches can also be opened on the border surface, with a depth of 3 cm to 5 cm, and the seedlings can be evenly placed in the ditch according to the row spacing of 15 × 15 cm. After planting, cover fine fertile soil, 1.5 cm thick, and finally cover the border with grass, the thickness of which is no soil fertilizer; water can be watered once more. Strip planting, the distance between rows and plants is 15 cm. About 20,000 seedlings are needed per mu.
