3. Main cultivation techniques

1. Suitable sowing time: seed propagation, 2.5 kg per mu. In order to ensure the prosperity of the whole seedling, the sowing time must be chosen before and after the Autumn Equinox (September 15-October 15 of the Gregorian calendar). Timely sowing is the key to high yield of Angelica dahurica.

2. Management: two times of intertillage can be carried out in combination with inter-seedling after emergence. In the middle and later stages of growth, herbicides can be used to control weeds without intertillage.

3. Fertilization: 0.5 square meters of organic fertilizer or circle fertilizer, 50 kilograms of calcium superphosphate, 25 kilograms of ammonia bicarbonate and 10 kilograms of potash fertilizer are applied as base fertilizer when deep ploughing soil. The first topdressing was 5 kg of diammonium per mu when the seedling height was 6ml 10 cm, and the second was in June, in the middle of growth, 25 kg of superphosphate and 10 kg of potash per mu.

4. Harvest and processing: before the End of Heat in the following year (late July), the stems and leaves were harvested when they became withered and yellow. If the root is harvested late, it will sprout again, consume a lot of nutrients and affect the yield and quality. When ploughing, cut off the dead leaves on the ground, dig up the whole root with a claw hook or pick (you can also use the machine to pick it up), clean the soil and thin roots, and dry them in the sun.
