Rehmannia glutinosa, also known as kettle flower, is a plant of Scrophulariaceae, which is used as medicine by root. Fresh Rehmannia has the effect of clearing heat, promoting fluid and cooling blood; raw Rehmannia has the effect of clearing heat, promoting fluid, moistening dryness, cooling blood and stopping bleeding; cooked Rehmannia has the effect of nourishing yin and tonifying kidney, regulating menstruation and tonifying blood. Rehmannia glutinosa is mainly produced in Hebei, Inner Mongolia and Liaoning. Rehmannia glutinosa prefers a soft and sunny climate. When the temperature is below 8 ℃, the rhizome is easy to erode. Avoid continuous cropping, avoid cotton, peanuts, sesame, beans and so on as the previous crops. The cultivated land should be cultivated with fluffy soil and good drainage, turning about 30 cm deep, raking flat and fine, making a flat box 120 cm wide, connecting the soil preparation and applying sufficient bottom fertilizer.

1. Breeding and cultivation when Rehmannia glutinosa was harvested, high-quality rhizomes were selected and stored in the cellar, and cultivated in the field after 12 ℃ in the spring of the following year. Before cultivation, Rehmannia glutinosa was cut into 5cm long segments with more than 3 full buds left in each section, then a ditch with a depth of about 6 cm was opened according to the row spacing of 30 cm, and the rhizome was planted into the ditch with a plant spacing of 1520 cm. After planting, cover the soil with 6ml 8cm, gently press it and then water it. Seedlings usually emerge about 30 days after planting. Such as sprouting and out-of-date cultivation, the emergence of seedlings is fast and complete. After emergence, you should pay attention to the anti-freezing in spring.

2. After seedling emergence and before closing the row, field management should often weed and loosen the soil, remove flower buds and tillers at any time, and fertilize it twice, timely watering to prevent drought, pay attention to timely drainage in the rainy season, and strictly prevent field waterlogging.

3. Disease control is spot blight, with round or irregular yellow or brown disease spots on the leaf surface. 150 times Bordeaux solution can be sprayed at the initial stage of the disease, once every 10 murals for 15 days, continuously spraying 3 Mel for 4 times. Or spray with Dyson zinc 500 Mel 600 times solution, every 7 mi every 10 days, and continue to spray 3 Mel 4 times. Second, ring disease, leaf spot yellow-brown, there are obvious concentric patterns, above the birth of small black spots, prevention and control methods and agents can be the same as spot blight.

4. Harvest is usually harvested after stagnant growth in October, first cut off the aboveground part, dig out the rhizome, remove the soil to become fresh Rehmannia glutinosa, usually yield 15003000 kg fresh Rehmannia per mu.

5. Dry the rhizome of Rehmannia glutinosa, remove the soil before baking, and bake according to the size. When baking, turn while baking, until the rhizome has no hard heart and soft texture, take out the pile-up stuffy, after "sweating", bake until the rhizome reaches "sugar ripe", take out and put it in a cool place for 2 days and then dry it as raw Rehmannia.
