Select large bulbs (diameter 3cm or above) to break open, dig out the heart buds, the bulbs are processed into "yuan treasure", and the heart buds are processed into shell cores. The smaller bulbs (less than 3cm in diameter) are not coring buds, and the whole bulb is processed into "pearl shell".

In the progress rate of scales to dig the heart of shellfish, it should be noted that the scales with double valves of ① should be separated to facilitate drying. Do not dig ② heart bud too big, so as not to affect the yield and quality.
