If the amount of seed used is large, sand storage treatment shall be adopted. The method is: about 2 months before sowing. soak radix Glycyrrhizae seeds in warm wat at 60 DEG C for 4 - 6 hours, stirring for many times during soak, taking out and draining, mixing evenly with fine river sand 5 times that of that seeds, and the humidity of the river sand is to be held by hands without dripping water. Then the seeds mixed evenly into wooden boxes, surrounded by unmixed seeds of wet sand, and then covered with 3 to 5 cm thick wet fine river sand.

Finally, put the seed box into the cellar prepared in advance, cultivate it with moist soil around, and cover the cellar with wet straw curtain. Sand storage cellar should be selected in high dry, leeward, shady place, cellar can not accumulate water.

Check humidity frequently during storage. If it is too dry, take out the seed box and mix well with water to make it suitable for re-storage. If the moisture is too large, it can be solved by drying. This method can be used to sow seeds in 2 months and is suitable for autumn sowing.
