Miaoli County Leisure Agriculture Development Association opens a new chapter in Shanghai exchange

Wen Zhenxi, chairman of the Miaoli County Leisure Agriculture Development Association (hereinafter referred to as the County Association), signed a memorandum of exchange and cooperation with Cao Jun of Shanghai Chongming Green Food production and Marketing Association in Jiang Ma Yuan Leisure Agriculture area on June 14, 1996. it opens a new page for the exchange of leisure agriculture in Miaoli, Shanghai.

Miaoli County in Taiwan and Chongming District in Shanghai are characteristic areas with rich agricultural resources and a beautiful environment. In recent years, there have been frequent exchanges between the two places. Deputy county magistrate Deng Guiju said: "in modern times, it is already an era of three-industry integration of agriculture. Signing this memorandum of cooperation will not only help the two places assist and exchange each other, but also strengthen mutual understanding between the two places. It is conducive to the development of agricultural product extension, leisure agriculture and rural tourism in the county."

The four major purposes of the MOU are to complement each other's advantages, expand exchanges, strengthen cooperation, and develop together. The main cooperation memorandum includes the establishment of the cooperation platform and the description of the scope of cooperation. The two sides will discuss and visit the agricultural fields of the two places from time to time, as well as smooth communication and connection channels.

Another major focus of the memorandum is that the county association will hold a week-long training workshop for agricultural technology popularization, planting, leisure and other related staff in Chongming District every year to increase the opportunities for cooperation between the two sides. The Chongming Green Food production and Marketing Association, which signed the memorandum, said: "Miaoli is a major leisure agriculture county in Taiwan. This association has been committed to promoting green food for a long time. Cooperative learning with your association will be able to promote and improve the development of rural tourism in Chongming District more widely and promote green tourism business opportunities."
