The market price is 40 yuan per kilogram (2006), and the income per mu can reach 6000 yuan.

1. Planting time and method

It can be planted in spring and autumn. The hole is dug according to the row spacing of 130 cm × 160 cm, with a depth of 30 cm. The hole is covered with a layer of bottom fertilizer and covered with a layer of fine soil, and then 4 plants are planted in each hole. After covering the soil, it can be pressed properly and poured through the root water.

2. Field management

(1) loosening the soil and weeding: keep the flower stump free of weeds, and loosen and cultivate the soil every year after the ground is thawed in early spring and before freezing in autumn and winter.

(2) topdressing: every year in early spring and early winter, combined with loosening soil and weeding, ring-shaped ditches are opened around flower stumps, 5 kg of soil fertilizer and 200 grams of compound fertilizer are applied to each pier, and then 5 cm of soil is cultivated in the rhizosphere. Timely and appropriate topdressing is an important measure to increase the yield of Flos Lonicerae.

(3) pruning: in winter or early spring, cut off the senile dry branches, the senile dry branches, the overdense branches and the overgrown branches, so as to concentrate the nutrients on the growth of flower branches. For the unrepaired presbyopia stump, all the branches can be cut off 20 cm from the ground after harvest, so that they can regenerate tender shoots and form new flower branches.

(4) pest control: Flos Lonicerae often has aphids and powdery mildew. 2000 times of 40% dimethoate EC was used to control aphids. Powdery mildew was sprayed with 800 times of 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder.

3. Harvesting and processing

The main results are as follows: (1) the opening time of harvest honeysuckle is concentrated, about 15 days. Timely picking is the key to improve yield and quality. The first crop of flowers is usually picked in mid-and late May. A month later, two or three stubble flowers were picked one after another. The method is to pick the buds from the outside to the inside and from the bottom up before the buds open. Within a day, the quality of the buds picked around 9 am is the best. Be sure to pay attention to timely harvest, otherwise the buds will open at 4-5 p.m., affecting the quality; but also can not be picked early, otherwise the buds are tender and turquoise, the yield is low, the quality is poor. Be careful not to break the branches when picking, so as not to affect the quality of the next stubble flowers.

(2) the collected flowers should be evenly sprinkled on the Reed mat or cleaned ground to dry by hand. it should not be turned and can be accumulated when drying to 80% dry.

4. Storage and sales

Once dried honeysuckle, after a period of time to dry again 1-3 times, so that it does not contain moisture, can be put into a plastic bag and tied to the mouth of the bag, it can be sold.
