The climate type, that is, the natural conditions of the region, is generally formed because of direct and oblique sunlight, monsoon, latitude position, sea and land position and altitude. The climate types in China are mainly temperate continental climate, plateau alpine climate, temperate monsoon climate, subtropical monsoon climate, tropical monsoon climate and so on.

Climatic characteristics of China

The main results are as follows: 1. the monsoon climate has obvious characteristics, which is mainly manifested by the significant change of the prevailing wind direction in winter and summer, and the seasonal variation of precipitation with the advance of the monsoon.

2. The continental climate is strong, which shows that the average temperature in winter and summer is quite different from that in other regions and countries at the same latitude, lower in winter than in the same latitude, and higher in summer than in the same latitude.

3. there are various types of climate, not only across cold, warm and hot climatic zones, but also in high mountains, deep valleys and hilly basins, which often form climatic zones of different scales within a small horizontal range, which is the so-called "ten miles different days".

Climate types in China

1. Tropical monsoon climate: tropical monsoon climate includes southern Taiwan Province, Leizhou Peninsula, Hainan Island and Xishuangbanna. The annual accumulated temperature > = 8000 ℃, the coldest monthly average temperature is not less than 15 ℃, the annual extreme minimum temperature is not less than 5 ℃, the extreme minimum temperature is generally no less than 0 ℃, and there is no frost all the year round.

2. Subtropical monsoon climate: most parts of South China and East China belong to this type of climate. The annual accumulated temperature is between 4500 and 8000 ℃, and the coldest monthly average temperature is 0: 15 ℃, which is the transition zone between subtropical and temperate zone. The summer temperature is quite high (the average temperature > = 25 ℃ has at least 6 weeks, that is, 30 days), and the winter temperature is quite low.

3. Temperate monsoon climate: North China belongs to this type of climate, the annual accumulated temperature is between 3000 and 4500 ℃, the coldest monthly average temperature is-280℃, and the summer mean temperature is still more than 22 ℃, but more than 25 ℃ is very rare, so it is relatively warm and cool.

4. Plateau and mountain climate: China's Qinghai-Tibet Plateau belongs to this type of climate. The annual accumulated temperature is less than 2000 ℃, the daily average temperature is less than 10 ℃, and the hottest temperature is also lower than 5 ℃, even less than 0 ℃. The daily range of temperature is large and the annual range is small, but the solar radiation is strong and the sunshine is sufficient.

5. Temperate continental climate: in a broad sense, temperate continental climate includes temperate desert climate, temperate steppe climate and subcold coniferous forest climate. In a narrow sense, with the exception of the latter, most of China's inland areas north of latitude 40 °N have a temperate continental climate.

6. tropical rain forest climate: China's Nansha Islands belongs to this type of climate, with high temperature and abundant precipitation throughout the year, with an annual average temperature of 28 to 30 degrees and an annual precipitation of more than 2800 mm.

The influence of climate on agriculture

1. Climate change increases the instability of production and increases the losses of agriculture and animal husbandry caused by meteorological disasters.

2. The problem of water resources in agricultural production in China is becoming more and more serious due to climate change.

3. Climate change may have a certain impact on China's major agricultural projects, and the risk of safe operation of major projects will be increased.

4. The impact of climate change on China's agricultural natural ecosystem and economy and society is also shown in many other aspects.

5. Climate change has increased the chances of disasters in China's coastal agricultural production.

6. Strong cooling and a wide range of rain and snow will cause frostbite to unharvested crops and all kinds of livestock, which can be fatal, cause economic losses to farmers and may lead to tight market supply.
