The original soil mass is so small, nutrients are limited, after flowering a large number of consumption, can be said to have little nutrients, plus in our hands for a few months, we repeatedly watered, the fertility and acidity of the soil mass has been washed almost, so the rhododendron appeared yellow leaves, leaf loss situation.

You might say, I added base fertilizer when changing pots! Without new roots growing, the fertilizer in the new soil has no effect on the cuckoo. So how do you avoid that? To avoid cuckoo this phenomenon, we must prevent it before it occurs, and take precautions when changing pots.

Buy azaleas, cultivation soil is often peat or coconut brick, soil outside the root system is often dead fibrous roots. At this time, we should change the basin of the original soil and the soil outside the ball and those dead roots are removed.

Plant by pruning roots until viable, healthy roots are exposed. Soon new roots will grow into our newly added soil. Perhaps you are worried that this way, the root damage will not cause the azalea bud to fall off? Even cuckoo will die?

We buy azaleas generally in late autumn or early spring, even in winter, such a time period, the temperature is relatively low, the transpiration of plants is relatively slow, and some damage to the roots in time is not particularly important for plants.
