Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The most distressing thing for meat parties in summer is: my meat has grown and maimed again, what should I do? Although they are all long and disabled, each has its own methods. Huahua summed up the most common ones: sunburn, withered leaves, overgrowth, mildew and black rot! If you encounter these problems, learn from Huahua.

What about succulent sunburn?

There are generally two cases of succulent sunburn: one is the continuous hot weather, and the succulent plants without shade are easy to be sunburned and wilted; the other is that after spraying water, the residual water on the leaves does not evaporate in time, and the leaves will be burned as soon as the sun shines.

After sunburn, it will not show up that day. If it is a slight sunburn, there will be all kinds of spots or scars on the center and tip of succulent leaves after three or five days.

Solution.

1. After sunburn, succulent plants need to be moved to astigmatism for maintenance, or shaded, waiting for self-recovery, during which normal maintenance and ventilation are maintained.

2. During daily maintenance, do not suddenly move succulent plants from weak light to strong light.

3, reduce watering, it is best to water in the evening, to avoid the hot sun and sunny days, because just after watering, the water evaporates, the basin soil heats up very quickly, and the root system will directly suffocate and rot.

What about succulent dead leaves?

When the leaves are short of water or the weather is hot, they will gradually dry up and fall off, which is a normal metabolic phenomenon. Found that dead leaves should be cleaned up in time, otherwise accumulate at the bottom, humid and muggy, it is easy to breed bacteria, infected with insect pests, serious will cause root rot!

Solution.

1. Hold the succulent plant with your hands and carefully clean up the dead leaves and fallen leaves. If the dead leaves haven't fallen yet, you can clean them up in a few days.

2. After cleaning, spread a layer of small pebbles underneath to avoid sunburn or water blackening.

What about succulent people?

The succulent flesh of other people is short and cute, but the succulent one of mine is always a dog? Huahua found that if there is not enough light and a lot of watering, the succulent plant will soon grow in vain.

Solution.

Those who have already been in apprenticeship can only be left alone, and cannot be changed back. But to adjust the way of maintenance, first of all, to increase the light, and then to reduce watering, we must pay attention to step by step. When there is enough light, even if there is a lot of watering, there will not be much.

For new succulent plants, keep in mind a tip for lighting before maintenance:

Low light for a long time will make the stem nodes grow too long.

Weak light and short time illumination will increase the thin surface area of leaves.

The leaves are the thickest under strong light for a long time.

The plant is the shortest under strong light for a short time.

What about succulent mildew?

The soil is hardened, poorly ventilated, watered too much, humid and muggy. Will cause succulent mildew, leaves mildew spots, root mildew rot!

Solution.

1. Remove the moldy leaves. If there are a large number of moldy leaves, pick the better leaves, disinfect them and insert them to reproduce.

2. When the root is moldy, take out the whole plant, rinse it with clean water, cut off the moldy part, and change the soil again after disinfection.

3, proper water control in summer, must be more ventilation, put the windowsill or with the help of fans and so on.

What about succulent black rot?

Summer is the high incidence period of succulent black rot, the stems and leaves become soft, and the roots are black and rotten, which is generally caused by infection of fungi or airtight soil.

Solution.

1. Beheading

Black rot usually begins to blacken from the root and stem, removes all the black rot, soaks and disinfects the remaining plants with 500 and 600 times of carbendazim, air-dried, and then re-cultivated.

2. Leaf cutting

If the succulent black rot is so serious that it can no longer be beheaded, pick a few healthy leaves and carry on cutting propagation.

3. The key to prevention

The key to preventing succulent black rot is four words: shading, ventilation, water control and stopping fertilizer. By doing this, succulent plants will be able to spend the summer safely.

That's all Huahua introduced today.
