Green radish is also known as devil vine, golden kudzu, golden vine, etc., unicorn leaves are large evergreen vines, growing in tropical areas, often climbing and growing on the rocks and trunks of the rainforest, with strong entanglement and developed air roots. They are called "flowers of life" because of their indomitable vitality. They can be cultivated either in soil or in water. Let's take a look at how to transplant green pineapple.

Potted soil cutting

Green radish is not easy to blossom, so it is generally propagated by cutting. Because of the air root on the stem node of green pineapple, the survival rate of cutting is very high. The general way of cutting is to insert the stem with aerial root directly into plain sand or vermiculite, with the depth of 1x3 of the cuttings, drenched with enough water, placed in a shaded place, spray water to the leaves every day or cover with plastic film to moisturize, the ambient temperature is not lower than 20 ℃.

Transplant temperature

Family pot planting of green pineapple is relatively easy. First of all, there are at least 4 colonized seedlings in a pot of green pineapple. The basin soil should be loose, fertile and rich in organic matter, which is favorable for forming. Secondly, the temperature should not be lower than 10 ℃ in winter, otherwise yellow leaves and fallen leaves are easy to occur and grow in an environment with strong scattered light. If it is too dark for a long time, the internodes will be slender and weak, and the leaves will become thinner, lighter and lose luster.

Transplant season

Cut the branches of green pineapple 15 cm to 30 cm in late spring and early summer, remove the leaves of 1 to 2 nodes at the base, pot directly with culture soil, 3 to 5 roots in each pot, pour through water, put in a cool and ventilated place, and root buds can be produced in about a month. Due to the limitation of potted soil, potted green pineapple is easy to aging and its leaves become smaller and fall off after being cultivated for a long time. Therefore, it is necessary to change the basin or prune and renew after 2 to 3 years of cultivation.

Water insertion transplantation

Water transplanting is also another commonly used method of transplanting green pineapple, and the environmental requirements are similar to those of pot transplantation. when transplanting, cut the tender stem vine 20 cm to 30 cm long into a section and insert it directly into a bottle filled with clear water. change the water every 2 to 3 days, and more than 10 days can take root and survive.

Matters needing attention

1. Spring, summer and autumn can be placed near the east or north windowsill and south-facing window in winter. If it is placed in an environment where the light is too dark for a long time, it will not only cause the trailing stem to grow, the Internode becomes longer and the plant shape sparse, but also the yellow and white stripes on the leaf surface will become smaller and pale, and even the spots will disappear and fade to green completely.

2. The green turnip likes to be moist. In the growing season, the green apple must be watered frequently to keep the basin soil moist and avoid drying. Otherwise, it will cause the branches and leaves of green apple to turn yellow and the plant shape is not good. If too much watering causes stagnant water in the basin soil, it is easy to cause rotten roots and withered leaves, especially when the room temperature is low in winter.

3. Green pineapple should pay attention to sunshade when it is put outdoors, especially in summer, or it will lead to smaller new leaves, dim leaf color, and easy to burn leaf edges. The suitable growth temperature of green pineapple is 20-30 ℃, and the room temperature should be lower than 15 ℃ in winter.
