First, the sheep house building should sit north to the south: each sheep house should be 15-20 square meters, with wooden strips nailed into a greenhouse, cushion the bottom of the ring, with a height of 30-40 cm. Such a sheep house is conducive to cold protection, warmth, moisture, ventilation and feeding management.

Second, carry out hybrid improvement step by step: the basic ewes for hybrid improvement should choose ewes with larger local size and more than three births, and excellent breeds such as Boer goats can be used to breed rams.

Third, avoid inbreeding: in each sheep farm or sheep breeding area, the breeding ram should have more than 3 lineages to avoid inbreeding decline.

Fourth, ewes should be marked: ewes raised in sheep breeding farms should wear ear numbers, which is conducive to breeding, breeding and file registration.

Fifth, do a good job in infrastructure: 1 cubic meter of ammoniation pool should be built for every 3-4 sheep. Seize the favorable opportunity of autumn harvest, silage, ammoniate or microsilage the straw to ensure that the sheep have enough forage for the winter.

Sixth, implement the collocation of green feed and straw: make use of green feed as far as possible in spring, summer and autumn, and plant 1-1.5 mu of high-yield forage for every 100 sheep in order to reduce the cost of raising sheep.

7. Implement the matching of coarse and fine fodder: while supplying coarse feed (green feed and straw feed), a certain amount of concentrate should be fed according to the physical condition and nutritional needs of sheep. 0.2 kg of concentrate should be provided per day, and crude protein accounts for 18% of the concentrate. Ewes during late pregnancy and lactation should also appropriately increase nutrition to meet the needs of pregnancy and lactation. The lambs began to supplement concentrate and high-quality forage at the age of 15 days to ensure the nutritional needs and smooth weaning of the lambs.

Eighth, timely grouping: according to the size of the day, the sheep flock is divided into lamb flock, young sheep flock and breeder flock. The number of sheep raised in each sheep house should not be too large, and 15-20 sheep should be suitable. In order to avoid food grabbing and fighting, pregnant ewes, lactating ewes and breeder rams should be kept on a leash or raised separately to avoid struggle, collision, miscarriage and trauma.

9. Regular deworming: sheep can use alfampicin and albendazole to dispel parasites both in vivo and in vitro. In addition, when the herd changes from grazing to shed feeding, it is necessary to pay attention to the ventilation of the sheep house and keep it dry, otherwise it is prone to sheep eye diseases. Sheep with ophthalmopathy can be treated by hypodermic injection of their own blood eye, which can be cured in 5-7 days.
