Cucumber overwintering should do a good job in water and fertilizer management
The fertilizer and water management of cucumber in winter greenhouse is very important, if the fertilizer and water management is not proper, it will cause rotting root, retting root, leaf yellowing and other bad phenomena. For this reason, we should do a good job in water and fertilizer management in production to promote production.
First, fertilize.
The main results are as follows: 1. after soil testing, formula fertilization was carried out according to the soil nutrient status and the law of fertilizer requirement for cucumber growth to meet the growth needs of cucumber. Judging from the current soil conditions in the greenhouse, the fertilization law suitable for cucumber growth is organic fertilizer plus compound fertilizer plus micro-fertilizer plus active beneficial bacterial fertilizer, and the combination of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer.
2. Topdressing is mainly composed of multi-element compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer, combined with biological bacterial fertilizer, and the combination of base fertilizer and flushing fertilizer is adopted. This can activate the soil layer, thus increasing the area of root extension and replenishing a large number of nutrients needed by the plant. Must not blindly increase the amount, such as too much base fertilizer, will cause burning seedlings; such as too large amount of fertilizer, easy to cause rotten roots, retting roots and so on. With the aging of greenhouse age, proper application of biological bacterial fertilizer is one of the feasible measures to improve soil. Biological fertilizer contains a variety of beneficial bacteria, which can activate soil, improve low temperature and regulate soil nutrition, so proper application of biological fertilizer can promote root development and improve cucumber disease resistance.
Second, watering.
1. Watering time: cucumbers in winter greenhouse should be watered in the morning on a sunny day, because at this time the water temperature is close to the ground temperature, the ground temperature is easy to rise, and there is plenty of time to drain moisture in the afternoon. Try to avoid watering in the evening and continuous cloudy days, so as not to increase air humidity and cause the occurrence and spread of vegetable diseases.
2. Watering quantity: when cucumber in greenhouse is seriously short of water in winter, it should not be watered too much at one time, which is easy to cause root system asphyxiation and rot. Try to pour small water, at the same time, but also pay attention to dehumidification as far as possible, such as excessive humidity, it is easy to cause downy mildew, bacterial spot disease and other diseases.
3. Watering water temperature: groundwater is the best choice for watering in winter, and the water temperature should not be lower than 8 ℃. On the day of watering, the ground temperature should be restored as soon as possible. It is very important to promote yield increase by overwintering cucumber and grasping fertilizer and water management.
