Porcine cryptorchidism is divided into unilateral cryptorchidism and bilateral cryptorchidism, unilateral cryptorchidism is more common, but bilateral cryptorchidism is rare. How to determine which side of the pig abdominal cavity is unilateral cryptorchidism? according to my many years of clinical practice, it is found that which side of the pig's ear is standing. Cryptorchidism is in which side of the abdominal cavity.

The operation of unilateral cryptorchidism is generally divided into two stages. First, the testis on the outer side is removed, and then the contralateral cryptorchidism is removed after the knife edge is healed. During this period, if the piglet is sold or changed to another operator, if it is not possible to accurately judge which side of the abdominal cavity of the pig cryptorchidism is in, it is difficult to operate.

The pig's body is a complete entity, each part is inseparable, and the nervous system plays a leading role. For example, after the left testis is removed, the nerve excitability of the left testes decreases, so the left ear is tilted. While the right ear stands firm, this special symptom proves that cryptorchidism is in the right abdominal cavity, so the operation should be carried out on the right side.
