Symptoms:

In orchards with poor irrigation conditions, low-lying terrain and heavy soil, fruit cracking occurs more seriously. Most of them occur in the fruits that are about to be harvested, some with split tops and some with split stalks. Due to the tight arrangement of berries, fruit grains squeeze each other, or fruit cracking occurs due to poor toughness of the pericarp. Or due to the imbalance of soil moisture, that is, the soil is too dry in the early stage, the flexibility of pericarp tissue is small, in the later stage, in the case of continuous rainfall, or too much soil watering, the moisture of the fruit suddenly increases, and the fruit swelling pressure increases and the fruit split longitudinally.

Prevention and control methods:

The main results are as follows: 1. By thinning branches and ears and adjusting the load, the strong branches leave 2 ears of fruit, the golden mean branch leaves 1 ear, and the weak branches do not leave the ear, so that the ear size is moderate.

2. Ploughing and loosening the soil in time after irrigation, reducing the fluctuation of soil moisture, using simple facilities to shelter from rain and reducing the change of dry humidity of fruit grains can effectively prevent the top cracking of grapes.

3. When the grape is almost ripe, spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate and rare earth fertilizer once.
