Led by Li Sichuan, Vice Mayor of New Taipei City, the New North good things Group participated in the mainland Kunshan Taiwan Agricultural Specialty Food Expo, which opened yesterday (20), and promoted the online and offline physical exhibition and tasting fair for the first time. This year, the promotion strategy will be aimed at overseas consumers, combined with cross-border e-commerce platform cooperation, to expand the marketing channels of specialty goods and gourmet food in New Taipei City, create cross-border brand advantages, and promote industrial development.

Vice Mayor Li Sichuan said that the city government develops smart cities and is committed to applying industrial innovations to business development and transformation to provide consumers with more convenient services. Since the city government held the companion gift campaign in 2008, it has accumulated many high-quality products and popular special companion gifts. In order to solve the inconvenience of overseas consumers coming to Taiwan to buy companion gifts, such as sending them to restaurants, airports, or picking up goods on the way, this year, cross-border e-commerce platforms will be combined to help promote high-quality products of New Taipei City to open up new channels in the mainland, open up more markets, and accelerate the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries. This time, we will have exchanges with Huaqiao cross-border trade town, strive for more opportunities for Taiwan enterprises to explore the mainland market, subvert consumers' shopping methods in different forms, easily promote Taiwan products through smart technology, and bring more business opportunities.

The New Taipei City Economic and Development Bureau said that the 2017 Mid-Autumn Festival Lantern Festival on both sides of the Taiwan Strait (Kunshan) and the Taiwan Agricultural Specialty Food Expo are planned to have a Taiwan style street of about 30000 square meters in four theme areas: Taiwan's high-quality agricultural specialties, special companion gifts, cultural and creative products, and gourmet snacks. This year, Xinbei Pavilion led 11 operators to jointly promote their products, offering free tasting activities for 5 consecutive days, and it is expected that millions of buyback business opportunities will be created in the future.
