Symptoms:

Grape black pox disease is also called scab disease. Orchard low-lying, poor drainage, extensive management, closed branches and leaves, poor ventilation and light transmission, partial application of nitrogen fertilizer caused excessive growth, delayed maturity, easy to disease. It mainly damages fruits, fruit stalks, leaves, petioles, new shoots and tendrils. The leaves are diseased, starting with pin-sized black-brown spots surrounded by yellow-brown halos. After enlargement, the lesions were round or irregular, with purple-brown to black-brown edges and gray-white centers, rupturing and perforating when dry. Ripening panicle infected, only on the surface of the pericarp appeared stiff spots, affecting quality. When new shoots, tendrils, petioles or tendrils are injured, they are initially round or irregular brown spots, later grayish black, dark brown or purple at the edges, and depressed and dehiscent in the middle to form ulcer spots.

Control methods:

1. Combine pruning, cut off diseased branches, remove dead fruits, scrape off dead skin on main vines, and bury them deeply or burn them.

2. Before germination, the whole garden shall be sprayed once with 3-5 degrees of stone sulfur mixture.

3. In the early stage of disease, spray 50% carbendazim WP 600 times solution, or 1∶0.7∶250 times Bordeaux mixture, or Yikuaijing 52.5% water dispersible granule 2000-3000 times solution, or 50% benomyl WP 1500-1600 times solution, or 10% Shigao water dispersible granule 2000-3000 times solution.
