The Central District of Leshan City takes the lead in starting the planning of comprehensive utilization of agricultural solid waste.

It is understood that there are more than 220 agricultural materials sales enterprises in the central district of the city, including 18 wholesalers and more than 200 retailers. According to the crop planting area of the statistical yearbook, it is estimated that 795000 waste seed bags, 407000 fertilizer packages, 5.81 million bags (bottles) of pesticides and 1.135 million jin of film will be produced in the whole year. At present, only some fertilizer packaging farmers are recycling, and other agricultural solid wastes are thrown into the garbage pool by farmers or discarded at will.

For this reason, recently, the Regional Agricultural Bureau has vigorously carried out the publicity work on the comprehensive utilization of agricultural solid waste and gathered relevant personnel such as pesticide dealers to carry out training. taking "market main body recovery, professional organization disposal, public financial support, enterprise participation" as the main mode, and implementing the principle of "reduction, resource utilization and harmless", establish the recovery and disposal system of agricultural solid waste.

It is understood that Shizhong District has taken the lead in carrying out work in the whole city, and all agricultural material outlets and cities in the region will set up agricultural solid waste recovery points and carry out pilot work in villages and cooperatives in some townships. It is estimated that by the end of 2017, the recovery rate of agricultural solid waste in Puren Township, Suji Town, Tuzhu Town and Guanmiao Township will reach 50%. In 2018, four new towns, Qingping Town, Tongjia Town, Mouzi Town and Yuelai Township, with a recovery rate of 60%, will be added to Maoqiao Town, Jiulong Town, Yingyang Town, Yangwan Town, Luohan Town, Shuikou Town, Jianfeng Town and Lingyun Township in 2019, with a recovery rate of 70%. By 2020, there will be at least one agricultural solid waste recycling station in each township in the region to comprehensively classify and dispose of agricultural solid waste and achieve the target of recovery of more than 80%.

Cui Peng, director of the plant protection station of the District Agriculture Bureau, said that in the end, it is necessary to form a long-term mechanism of who uses, who manages, and who recycles. Through this form, farmers and dealers can develop good habits, reduce the discarding of agricultural production wastes, reduce non-point source pollution, and return us to green mountains and green waters.
