The preferred place for all major grape growing companies in the future-Argentina
According to the Argentine Chronicle on June 1, 2017, our biggest customer, Yantai Changyu Grape Wine Co., Ltd., the largest wine company in China, bought Vi?an Ind?omita, Santa Alicia and DosAndes wineries of Chile's Bethia Group for $50 million on Tuesday. Delivery is expected to be completed in June this year. Through this acquisition, Changyu became the first Chinese company to invest in the Argentine wine market indirectly.
DosAndes winery, located in Neuquen province, was founded in 1986. At present, the winery has an annual output of 2.3 million litres of red wine and a vineyard area of 220ha, mainly composed of red wine brands such as Calafate, Chalten and Ruta22.A. Chile's Bethia Group acquired the above three wineries (including Dos Andes wineries) owned by the Corpora Group for US $52 million in 2012.

Argentina has nine important wine regions, namely the provinces of Catamarca, Salta and Tucuman in the north, La Rioja, Mendoza and San Juan in the Cuyo region, and La Pampa, Neuquen and Rio Negro in Patagonia.
I. Catamarca
The wine-making region of Kadamarka is located in the western part of the province, and the main brewing area is in Tinogasta, which accounts for nearly 70 per cent of the province's grape cultivation. In addition, other grape-growing areas in the province include Bethlehem (Belen), Fiambala (Fiambala) and Saint Mana (Santa Mar í a). The most typical grape varieties in these regions are Torrontes and Cabernet Sauvignon. Among them, Leonotorentes white wine is full-bodied, medium-bodied, with high alcohol content and medium acidity, with obvious fruity and floral aromas.
II. Salta
The grape growing area of Salta province is the highest grape growing area in the world, the highest of which can be as high as 10210 feet. The province's most outstanding producing area is Cafayate, which occupies more than 70 per cent of the vineyards in the Calchac í es Valleys, and the best grape variety in the region is Torrontes.
3. Tucuman (Tucuman)
Tucuman is one of the highest valleys in the world, extending northward from the Salta region and southward from Kadamarka. The main grape varieties grown are Tannat, Marbeck, Syrah, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon and Tetra Sauvignon.
Lalioha (La Rioja)
Most of the vineyards in La Rioja are located in small irrigated valleys in the west of the province. Two kinds of wines are produced here, one is industrial wine, and the other is traditional wine, which is mostly regional wine produced by family workshops. There are white grape varieties and red grape varieties in the producing area, of which the most typical white grapes are extra strong feelings, but there are also a few red grapes, such as Bernarda and Silas.
5. Mendoza
Mendoza is the main wine-producing province in Argentina, accounting for 80% of the country's total wine production. There are five large oases in Mendoza, which are located in the north, east, central, south and Uco Valley region. Among them, the northern region is very suitable for growing white grape varieties, such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Bai Shinan, Bai Yunii (Ugni Blanc) and Te Nung Love, etc., as well as some red grape varieties, such as Sheila, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bernarda and Malbeck. The white grape varieties grown in the eastern region are Chardonnay, Acacia, Bai Shinan, Special strong feelings and Vioni, while the red grape varieties are Sangjiao Vise, Sila, Bernarda and Danbu. The most distinctive grape variety in the central region is Marbeck, while the most distinctive grape variety in the southern region is Bai Shinan. The oldest grape growing area in the Youk Valley is La Consulta, where red grapes such as Malbeck, Merlot and Pinot Noir are grown, while white grapes are chardonnay and Semillon.
VI. San Juan (San Juan)
The San Juan region is the second largest grape growing area in Argentina, where there are many famous valleys with warm climate and plenty of light. The good growing environment makes the locally grown grapes rich in flavor substances and high in polyphenols, resulting in elegant and fruity wine. In addition, Silas, Malbeck, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bernarda, Chardonnay and Tehon are also grown in San Juan. It is worth mentioning that Silas in the San Juan producing area is now getting more and more attention because of its good performance.
7. La Pampa
La Palma is located in a fan-shaped valley where the main grape varieties are Merlot, Marbeck, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay.
8. Neuquen
The northern mountains of Neuquen province have a dry climate and are very suitable for growing grapes. San Patricio (San Patricio) is one of the producing areas, and it is now the first choice for major grape growing companies. The rainfall in this area is only 7 mm, and the temperature difference between day and night is as high as 20 degrees Celsius, so that during the grape ripening season, grapes can not only grow better, but also gather more flavor substances. The wines produced in this region have strong fruity aromas, full-bodied and complex taste. The cool climate can make the wines delicate and elegant, such as Pinot Noir.
9. Heihe (Rio Negro)
Heihe province is Patagonia's most outstanding wine region, which has a typical continental climate, with very cold winters and hot and dry summers. Patagonia has a unique geographical features, making the wine produced in this region is not only full of personality, but also outstanding, the acidity and sweetness of the wine to achieve a perfect balance. Patagonia is famous for producing white wine. The white wine made from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc here has a unique and rich mineral flavor, which is not found in other producing areas. In addition, some red grape varieties are grown here, such as Merlot, Pinot Noir and Marbeck.
