Now is the season for crop harvest, but it makes the hearts of vegetable growers fall into a freezing point! Frequent unsalable incidents continue to appear in the eyes of the public.

In the face of this dilemma, how to distinguish the false things and keep the real things to find the most correct way to break the situation is a question worthy of active consideration by the farmers at present!

Today, the editor will use the method of debate, put forward the phenomenon, and then a little bit of rebuttal, through which back and forth, I hope to give you a little bit of inspiration!

I. unsalable mystery

Case 1: Mr. Xu from Dadongzhang Village, the center of Zoucheng, Jining, Shandong Province, is not happy because the million jin of potatoes planted by his cooperative have not been sold so far.

At the beginning of this year, he set up a professional planting cooperative and contracted more than 300 mu of land to grow potatoes. seeing that the harvest season came, there were no foreign businessmen to buy it. Mr. Xu, the grower: "at this time of the year, there were no potatoes in the field before the wheat was cut. They were all gone."

Mr. Xu said, "in August last year, because the price of corn was relatively low, we organized members to set up cooperatives to grow cash crops. Who knew this was the case in farming, but the harvest was very good, that is, the price went down, and there were no foreign businessmen to harvest it."

As the reason for the unsalable potatoes is unknown, Mr. Xu now looks at the potatoes in this place and worries about them. The potatoes of more than 300 mu are the hard work of him and the farmers for more than half a year. Mr. Xu said that this piece of land alone is more than 70 mu, including pesticides, seeds and fertilizers. According to such a preliminary calculation, the direct loss can reach 200,000 to 300,000.

Analysis: low vegetable prices have become the "new normal"

How should we treat it?

Now that low food prices have become the "new normal", does it mean that we will never have a chance to cook? This is not the case. If under this normal situation, people actively make adjustments, food prices come out of the trough and remain at a reasonable level, everyone can make money and continue for a period of time, then there will be another "normal" coming. It's just that it's impossible to guess when the next "normal" will come.

Well, in the current "low food prices" has become the new normal, how should our vast number of cooking friends deal with it? today, Nong Caijun will give you a simple comb of logic and ideas.

(1) the price of food cannot be low or high for a long time. The price of food is related to the livelihood of hundreds of millions of people, and a long-term downturn will cause many people to leave the industry and look for new opportunities. Through such a slow adjustment, a relative balance between supply and demand will eventually be achieved, and food prices will naturally pick up. Of course, if the price of food is high for a long time, and quite a lot of people enter the industry, the supply will gradually increase, and the price of food will naturally fall, just like today. Therefore, we can understand that any industry, can not forever profiteering, may also be permanent losses, will eventually move towards a reasonable level.

(2) there must be opportunities for persistence, but not everyone can stick to it. We have to understand that the word "persistence" is sometimes very cruel, and the fierce competition and confrontation behind it is the result of an advantage and inferiority, hurting the enemy by one thousand and damaging 800, so whether or not to choose "persistence" is not as simple as shouting a slogan, but needs to be supported by strength. just imagine if everyone insists, then the downturn will continue and losses will continue until some people can't hold on. What a tragic process it is. Ask yourself, can you hold on to the end?

(3) continuous innovation is very important, and being backward and conservative will be eliminated. Agriculture is a slow industry, and agriculture is also an industry that pays attention to the accumulation of experience. however, this may be correct in the past, because at that time, capital and talents did not face agriculture squarely. However, now it is different, agriculture is in the tuyere, a large number of innovation changes continue to appear, and all this is aimed at improving quality and reducing costs. In other words, if you do not innovate, you do not adapt to the new changes, your costs will be higher and higher, others' costs will be lower and lower, and eventually you will be eliminated.

(4) to keep a normal mind, it is the most important to let nature take its course. Now that the industry has developed to this stage, it is impossible for us to change the situation on our own, only to maintain a normal mind, not rash forward, not blind, and treat it rationally. For example, now we all know the importance of food price information, and many opportunities will be lost if we do not pay attention to the changes in food prices. No matter whether the price is high or low, we should treat it in a normal mind. if we can do the work step by step, we should stick to it and withdraw if we can't hold on. Just let nature take its course.

Case 2: in Wali Wu Village, Lizhuang Town, Huimin County, Binzhou City, Shandong Province, villager Ma Helong is standing in his onion field worried. This year, she had a bumper harvest of onions, but she couldn't wait for a buyer. Seeing that more than 10,000 jin of fresh onions left in the field are about to rot in the ground, Ma Helong can do nothing but helplessness.

Onions are unsalable, and Ma Helong's family is not alone in this situation. In Huangcheng Town, Linzi District, Zibo, Shandong Province, farmer Wu Mingshan also scratches his head every day pointing to onions in the field. His family has planted more than five acres of onions. The price has been stable in the past, but this year it has encountered the lowest price in history. Lao Wu told the reporter that when the merchants came to buy this year, the price was only 15 cents. Some time ago, it reached 13 cents. He calculated the account himself. If he sold less than 50 cents a jin, there would be no profit to speak of. Now the price is only less than 1/3 of the cost price, which makes growers want to cry without tears.

Analysis: it is also a vegetable

Large bases are different from small farmers.

In fact, there should be an essential difference between large bases and small farmers in terms of operation ideas, because they have naturally different attributes. If large bases are operated according to the ideas of small farmers, the development prospects are not much better. And small farmers want to move the idea of a big base to develop, it is estimated that they will die miserably. Therefore, large bases should have the idea of large bases, and small farmers should also have the ideas of small farmers. Only in this way can we complement each other and achieve a harmonious win-win situation.

(1) Business positioning: large bases must do agriculture with a threshold, otherwise you can't compete with small farmers.
