The treatment of rotten Roots of Happiness Tree

First, reasons

The rotten roots of happiness trees are usually caused by excessive watering, excessive fertilization or poor air permeability. Excessive watering will have stagnant water, once there is stagnant water, it will cause rotten roots, too much fertilizer will have excess nutrients accumulation, will burn its roots and lead to rotten roots, if the permeability of the basin soil is relatively poor, its roots can not breathe normally, coupled with stagnant water or excess nutrients, it is easy to rot roots.

Usually watering should be moderate, not too frequent, be sure to wait for the soil to dry before watering, and do not apply too much fertilizer, based on the principle of frequent application of thin fertilizer, and the concentration of fertilizer should not be too high. Keep the basin soil breathable enough and give light properly.

II. Methods of treatment

1. Take the happiness tree out of the pot soil, gently clean up the old soil from the roots, and then rinse the roots with clean water.

2. Cut off the rotten roots and stems and leaves with sterilized tools until a clean and healthy wound is exposed, then soak the roots with potassium permanganate for about 30 minutes, remove it and apply proper amount of rooting powder, then put it in a cool place to dry.

3. Prepare the flowerpot and the breathable soil, insert it into the soil, bury the happiness tree in one hand and bury the soil in the other, finally compact the soil, and then water it thoroughly.
