Last Updated: 2024/09/20, There are many reasons for tulip orchid root: if it is caused by a large amount of water, properly reduce the amount of water and control the frequency of watering. If the soil is caused by impermeability, replace it with loose, well-breathable soil. If it is caused by a large amount of fertilizer, then control the amount of fertilizer.

1. Reduce watering

Cause: Long-term excessive watering will cause hypoxia in the roots, unable to breathe normally, and will also lead to rotten roots.

Solution: Reduce the amount of watering appropriately, and control the frequency of watering. After watering too much, loosen the soil properly and put it in a ventilated place.

II. Replacement of soil

Reason: If the soil permeability is not good, it will easily cause the roots to not breathe, coupled with the humid environment, it will easily lead to root rot.

Solution: Replace it with loose, breathable soil as soon as possible, so that tulip roots can breathe more smoothly.

3. Appropriate fertilization

The reason: too much fertilizer or too high a concentration will burn the roots of tulips and the leaves will turn yellow.

Solution: Control the amount of fertilizer, the concentration of fertilizer is not too high, too much fertilizer can be properly watered, so that excess fertilizer can be discharged as soon as possible.

IV. Treatment methods for serious rotten roots

Take out the roots of tulips from the pot soil, cut off the rotten parts with sterilized tools, disinfect them, wash them with sterilized water, dry them and plant them again in the pot soil.
