The "transcendence" of melon and leaf chrysanthemum
Melon leaf chrysanthemum is also known as rich chrysanthemum and cucumber flowers. The leaves are as big as melon leaves and bright green. Flowers terminal, heads mostly aggregated into corymbose inflorescences, inflorescences densely covered at the top of the branches, like the shape of the bottom of the pot, colorful, very beautiful, lovable.
There is a way to raise this beautiful plant well.
1 choose the soil suitable for growth
The cultivated soil is sandy soil with humus and good drainage, and the slightly acidic soil is the most suitable for its growth.
2 proper lighting
During the growing period, I prefer the sun to shade. It is best to put it in a sunny place and often move the flowerpot to make the branches and leaves receive light evenly.
3. Control of watering
The water should be sufficient, and the basin soil should not be too wet. Usually watering should be done according to the dry and wet condition of the basin soil, and it should be watered again after drying, about once every 3 days or so. When the weather is relatively hot, you can spray water on the leaves to reduce the temperature and increase the relative humidity of the air. After you have buds, you should control watering and put them in a place of about 8-12 ℃.
4 controlled fertilization and temperature
In addition to applying base fertilizer during planting, the melon and leaf chrysanthemum is topped with thin cake fertilizer every 10 days or so, and 1000 times of potassium dihydrogen phosphate is applied after the flower bud appears, which lasts until flowering. Do not apply fertilizer on rainy days, do not sprinkle it on the leaves, and wash it immediately if you have it! The growth of Chrysanthemum morifolium was the best under the condition of 15-20 ℃.
