Therefore, if you want to raise the rose well, you need to "adhere" to one thing in spring, summer, autumn and winter, that is, fertilization, so that the rose can bloom the four seasons.

Many flower lovers do not know when their rose is short of fertilizer and when it needs fertilization. In fact, to fertilize the rose, it depends on the plant fertilization, diligent and thin application. If the branches and leaves are small, thin, yellow and show nitrogen deficiency, nitrogen fertilizer should be applied; if the branches are weak and the flowers are sagging, it is a reaction of lack of phosphorus and potassium, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be added in time.

It is better to fertilize rose before 10:00 in the morning and after 3: 4 p.m. If it is a hot summer, fertilize in the early morning and evening. Fertilize the rose in spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the specific operations are as follows:

1. Spring fertilizer

If the flower friends last autumn and winter base fertilizer to the rose, good quality, generally do not need to apply spring fertilizer to the rose. Adult rose plants can only apply nitrogen fertilizer once when they appear buds.

2. Summer fertilizer

After the first batch of rose blossoms to the second batch of flower bud germination, flower friends need to use rose special organic liquid fertilizer to dilute 500 times topdressing fertilizer, supplement the consumption of the first batch of flowering and promote the second batch of flower bud differentiation and summer shoot emergence, so as to lay the foundation for autumn flowers. 3. Autumn fertilizer

To apply autumn fertilizer to rose, generally from August to October, before the second full bloom and after pruning, topdressing rose liquid fertilizer mainly with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer for 1 or 2 times, and it is best to use 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate as external topdressing at the same time. When the buds spit red, you should stop fertilizing immediately.

Avoid applying too much nitrogen fertilizer before flowering, so as not to cause excessive growth of buds, hypertrophy of petals, misshapen flowers, dim colors, and even stiff buds.

4. Winter fertilizer

The winter fertilizer of rose is the fertilization when the rose enters the dormant period, which is mainly the application of organic fertilizer and appropriate amount of phosphate fertilizer in the ring shallow trench. The depth and width of the ditch were 10~20cm and 20~30cm respectively. Each plant was mixed with 10-20 grains of granular fertilizer on the basin surface, then covered with soil and watered thoroughly.
