With the improvement of people's living standards, more and more people fall in love with growing flowers, but more and more people do not know how to grow flowers, so various methods of growing flowers on the Internet and self-made flower fertilizer have emerged as the times require, but to be fair, self-made flower fertilizer is troublesome and smells bad, and now people's life is fast and stressful, so there is no time to make it, and that smell is not suitable for flower friends in buildings. Because it not only smokes itself, but also its neighbors, many flower friends leave messages saying that self-made flower fertilizer is fine, but it is not suitable for us to use, so we will not share any home-made flower fertilizer today.

Today we mainly talk about gardenia, camellia how to use fertilizer, if not self-made flower fertilizer, then how to make them grow faster and bloom more? Today, let's ask these two things to help.

Let's talk in two steps.

The first step is during their growing period, when both gardenia and camellias need nitrogen fertilizer, so at this time we can add a few grains of urea to make urea water.

Dilute it with urea and water at 100%. A 1 liter plastic bottle with 3 to 5 tablets will do. Shake and dissolve and pour into the soil.

Under normal circumstances, it can be used three times a month, from winter to spring. After use, gardenia and camellias are springing out a lot of new leaves, which look really gratifying.

The second step is that the spring buds are long and enter the process of Lignification, when they all have a short dormant period, we can apply fertilizer at this time, but when it comes to flowering, we can apply more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, no or less nitrogen fertilizer, which can not only control the shoot growth, but also promote and shorten the flower bud differentiation time, which will be more conducive to flower bud formation.

At this time, we can give them a thin concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer or potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution, usually twice a month, in order to promote their flowering, colorful flowers and long flowering period, after the formation of flower buds, 0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution can be added for 1 to 2 times to increase the content of potassium.

These flower fertilizers can be bought from the florist, and florists can rest assured to use them according to the instructions.

It should be noted that gardenia and camellias like acidic soil, so watering can add a little vinegar, or citric acid, can enhance the acidity of the soil. Watering water temperature should also be strictly controlled, water temperature close to room temperature, do not use very cold water or hot water, use for a period of time, let the temperature close to room temperature re-use.

In order for them to bloom more, pruning and lighting also need to be paid attention to.

Camellia

Generally speaking, the best time for camellia pruning is about a month before the new buds sprout. During the growth period, we should also pay attention to the sick branches to be cut off in time. In order to ensure a good growth order, the unpruned branches can be removed from the top shoots and let them branch around to increase ornamental.

Camellias should be placed in a warm, moist, ventilated and transparent place. There should be plenty of light in spring and shade in summer to avoid direct sunlight and the west. If you put it on the balcony, you will die in the sun if you are not careful.

Gardenia jasminoides

Gardenia forms flower buds in April, so in addition to cutting off individual jumbled branches and leaves, Gardenia jasminoides should generally focus on bud protection; in June, the residual flowers should be cut off in time to promote the emergence of new shoots, and when the new shoots grow to 2-3 nodes, carry out the first coring.

And wipe off some axillary buds properly; in August, pick the heart of the second stubble branch and cultivate the crown, you can get a beautiful tree-shaped plant.

Gardenia likes the light, but should be careful not to bask in the sun too much. When the temperature is too high at noon, the leaves will turn yellow, like water, water, and can be watered once every 3 days, but be careful not to have stagnant water. Flower friends can use loose and breathable nutrient soil, which will flow out from below immediately after watering.

That's all for today's sharing.
