Premier Lai Qingde said when attending the 106 National Sustainable Development Award award ceremony on the 25th that the selection process of the National Sustainable Development Award includes written preliminary examination, on-the-spot investigation review and final examination, which shows the outstanding contribution of the award-winning units. Well-deserved. On behalf of the Executive Yuan, he expressed his gratitude to the award-winning units, hoping that more public and private sectors and schools in Taiwan society will learn and move forward in this direction and continue to promote the sustainable development of the country.
President Lai Qingde pointed out that the "National Council for Sustainable Development of the Executive Yuan" promotes the integration of issues and development directions with the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. The United Nations has announced 17 sustainable development goals and 169 sub-plans, hoping that countries around the world will promote national government affairs in accordance with the relevant master plans and sub-plans from 2016 to 2030. Taiwan is now doing the same.

The winners include the Sustainable Development Award for Government organs: the Construction Department of the Ministry of the Interior, the Forestry Bureau of the Committee of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan, and the National Health Department of the Ministry of Health; "Education Sustainable Development Award": Hongguang University of Science and Technology, South China University, Cixin Hua Telford Education Experimental Senior High School "Enterprise Sustainable Development Award": Pacific Sogo Department Store Co., Ltd., Lianhua Electronics Co., Ltd., Rohm and Haas Asia-Pacific abrasive Materials Co., Ltd.; "Civil Society Sustainable Development Award": Taiwan World Vision Association, Yunlin County Culture Fisheries Development Association.
