The breeding of potted flower varieties has achieved fruitful results in recent years, and there has been a commercial opportunity for export of Dendrobium seedlings. It has been agreed in the United States that it can be exported with cultivation media, which will effectively reduce the consumption rate in the process of transportation and help to improve the quantity and quality of Dendrobium. It also provides new market opportunities for orchid manufacturers.

The Council of Agriculture stated that for the benefit of operators to make production arrangements as soon as possible, from now on, the sub-bureaus of its prevention and inspection bureaus can accept their greenhouse applications. If they are currently qualified greenhouses for Phalaenopsis imported to the United States, the greenhouse does not need to be empty; for those who are not currently exported to the United States, the greenhouse will be cleared and certified by the Prevention and Inspection Bureau, it can become an approved greenhouse for imported Dendrobium plants.
