The root nodule disease of rose which is difficult to cure should be prevented mainly.
Root nodule etiology symptoms appear in the root, the disease is difficult to detect in time, this disease is almost impossible to cure, it is best to prevent it. Root nodules usually transmit germs to the roots through wounds, resulting in tumors in the roots. This kind of disease is very easy to spread, especially the plants planted in the ground. When a plant gets sick, it is easy for a large area to suffer.
The roses suffering from root nodule disease showed poor growth and yellowing of leaves. There are many conditions that can easily cause root nodule disease, such as water quality problems, or root damage caused by pruning, moving plants in changing soil and changing pots, or excessive watering, which makes the soil in a state of stagnant water for a long time.
Be careful not to use dirty water when watering flowers, and do not bury animal carcasses and other bacteria-causing objects in the soil.
Before planting plants, special soil fungicides can be used to sterilize pots and soil. Disinfect the knife at high temperature before pruning the root, or disinfect it with alcohol or 10% sodium hypochlorite solution, and disinfect the wound in time to prevent bacteria from invading the root.
An effective way to prevent root cancer is to soak the roots in a solution of 2000-3000 times of agricultural streptomycin sulfate for 2-3 hours before planting roses; or to dip the roots in the triple solution of anti-root cancer agent K84 (use this instead of using other fungicides), or soak the roots with copper sulfate for 5 minutes; or disinfect with potassium permanganate and agricultural streptomycin with 72% content.
If it is found that there is a tumor in the root of the rose, the tumor should be resected. after removing the tumor with a sterilized knife, disinfect the incision with 500 to 2000 times streptomycin. The treated plants had better change soil and change pots, and the old flowerpots had better be thrown away. If they are not thrown away, they should be disinfected and put aside for exposure. They should not be used immediately to prevent the bacteria from spreading again.
If the disease is found late, or can not be cured after treatment, the diseased plants (especially the ground plants) should be destroyed in time, the soil should be sterilized with chloropicrin or 10% Fuqido granules, and then the plants next to them should be inspected, and the corresponding sterilization should be carried out.
