Mayor Zheng Wencan said that there are currently six sheltered workshops in Taoyuan city. a total of 66 people with physical and mental disabilities and 7 trainees were employed, with an annual turnover of more than 20 million yuan. The city government launched a joint gift promotion program on Mother's Day. Mayor Cheng Wen-can points out that the city government will continue to support sheltered workshops, and it is also considering the use of market funds to introduce subsidy policies for personnel, rent, and other expenses, so as to reduce the operating costs of sheltered workshops and set a threshold. As the Gong 24 Park is nearing completion, the municipal government retains the original principal's dormitory and plans to transform it into a sheltered workshop, and plans to build a "Labour Education Building" on Minsheng Road as a space for labor mediation, labor academy, trade union training office, etc., and to discuss the setting up of sheltered workshops on the first floor to express support for the employment of people with physical and mental disabilities.
