The leaves are green, the flowers are white, and if they are well raised, they can blossom from May to November. Today, flowers bring you the most complete jasmine conservation skills!

What if the leaves of jasmine turn yellow and fall off?

The leaves of jasmine usually turn yellow for three reasons:

1. Improper watering

When too much watering, jasmine root permeability is not good, there will be young leaves without luster, gradually yellowing and withering, the old leaves do not change much; when too little watering, the water absorption is not enough, the old leaves will gradually fall off from the top down.

Solution: the number of watering times should be determined according to the dry and wet condition of the basin soil and the weather to ensure that the basin soil is damp but not wet. after being caught in the rain, the stagnant water should be poured out in time to prevent rotting roots.

2. Improper fertilization

When the jasmine is hypertrophic, the new leaves turn brown, and the old leaves gradually wither and fall off; when the leaves are not nutritious enough, they will turn yellow.

Solution: change the basin and soil in time when you are fat, and topdressing in time when you are short of fertilizer. Fertilization should be carried out in accordance with the principle of applying thin fertilizer frequently.

3. Soil alkalinity.

Jasmine flowers like to grow in a sour environment, and if the potted soil of flower friends in the north is too alkaline, it will also cause yellow leaves to fall.

Solution: adjust the acidity and basicity of the soil, dilute vinegar with water 1000 times, irrigate the soil, and water the peel and core of the fruit with water and fertilizer to water the flowers.

What if the jasmine loses its bud?

Jasmine usually loses its buds and buds for two reasons:

1. Adapt to the new environment

Newly bought jasmine, adapt to the new environment, need to consume a lot of nutrients, at this time can only sacrifice the bud to save nutrients.

Solution: pinch off the buds, trim some strong branches and leaves, then put them in a cool and ventilated place, slow for a week, and then carry out normal maintenance.

2. Lack of light

Jasmine flowers like light, the growth process needs sufficient light, lack of light, will cause branches and leaves to grow, either before flowering bud, or flowering is few and small.

Solution: first trim the overgrown branches and leaves, and then put the flowerpot on the south balcony or windowsill with sufficient light for maintenance, as long as it is not exposed to strong light.

What about the rotten roots of jasmine?

1. Pruning rotten roots

After finding the rotten roots, remove the jasmine from the flowerpot, gently shake off the soil, rinse with clean water, and then cut off the rotten roots.

2. Sterilization and disinfection

Soak the trimmed roots in potassium permanganate or carbendazim solution for 2 to 3 hours, then leave them in a ventilated and cool place to dry.

3. Change the pot and transplant

Put a layer of gravel and cinder on the bottom of the prepared flowerpot, then fill and transplant. The soil can be mixed with loose rotten leaf soil and mud-sand soil.

How to raise jasmine in summer?

Watering

When the temperature is high, the water of jasmine evaporates quickly, and water is watered once every morning and evening to keep the basin soil moist but not stagnant. If the air is dry, spray water frequently.

Light

If you want to bloom more jasmine, you must make sure that there is enough light, as long as it is not exposed to the strong light at noon, the more light at other times, the better.

Fertilizer application

Summer is the full bloom of jasmine flowers. In order to ensure flowering, mature cake fertilizer or compound fertilizer should be applied every other week. Only when there is enough fertilizer and water can jasmine blossom more and bigger. Pay attention to pot soil that is not dry and cannot be fertilized.

Pruning

Jasmine grows fast in summer, so it is necessary to prune the tangled branches that are too dense in time, and retain the bottom 10~15cm when pruning to promote the germination of new branches. Cut off the flower branches in time after the flower fade, reduce the nutrient consumption and ensure the next flowering.

Pest control

1. Red spider

In summer, if the ventilation is not good, jasmine flowers are most likely to give birth to red spiders, red spiders will harm the top young leaves, leaves appear yellow patches, serious will wither and yellow fall off.

Solution: when finding infection, first cut off the diseased leaves, remove the dead branches and leaves, and then spray, pay attention to 2 points when spraying:

1. Red spiders have strong reproductive ability and are easy to produce drug resistance, so the drugs must be rotated. The optional agents are 25% triazoltin wettable powder 1000 times, 20% triclofenac 1000 times, 5% carotene EC 500 times, and so on.

2. To eliminate red spiders, it is best not to use dichlorvos and dimethoate. The smell of these two pesticides is too strong to disperse for many days. They are not good for the human body, and they are not specific drugs.

2. Anthrax

Anthracnose usually occurs on leaves, starting with small yellowish-green spots and gradually expanding into grayish-white or grayish-brown round spots.

Solution:

When infection is found, first remove the diseased leaves, and then spray 70% of Luke 600 times 800 times, once every 7 to 10 days, 3 times in a row.

If the lesion is serious, spray 50% methyl topiramate, 75% chlorothalonil wettable powder 800-1000 times or 50% carbendazim 1000 times.

3. White silk disease

White silk disease is the most serious disease of jasmine, which mainly occurs at the base of the stem close to the ground, the surface produces white hyphae, the bottom gradually decays, and the whole plant will die seriously.

Solution:

At the initial stage of the disease, 1000 times of Dysenamine can be sprayed around the disease and soil, once every 7 to 10 days to restrain the spread of the disease.

When the disease is serious, the diseased plants must be pulled out, the diseased plants must be removed, and the disinfectant must be irrigated with 86.2% copper master 800mm 1200 times, 50% Dysenamine 500 times or lime powder.
