Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Two industry standards such as "Technical regulations for structured Forest Management" have passed the examination.

Recently, the Science and Technology Department of the State Forestry Administration organized a standard examination and approval meeting at the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences. two industry standards, "structured Forest Management Technical regulations" and "structured Forest investigation and Design Technical regulations", organized by Hui Gangying researchers of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, were examined and approved.

The examination and approval committee consists of Zhao Xiuhai, a professor at Beijing Forestry University, Huang Xuanrui, a professor at Hebei Agricultural University, Jiang Sanai, a senior engineer in the afforestation department of the State Forestry Administration, and Liu Yonghong, a senior engineer at the professor level of the Natural Forest Protection Office. Sun Changzhong, a researcher at the Hualin Center of the Chinese Academy of Forestry Sciences, is composed of seven experts. The head of the Standards Department of the Science and Technology Department of the State Forestry Administration presided over the examination and approval meeting.

At the meeting, the compilation team reported in detail the formulation of the two industry standards. The examination and approval committee examined and approved the contents of the two industry standards item by item, and after discussion, it was agreed that the Standard of structured Forest Management Technical regulations put forward the strategy of structured forest management. it defines the method of determining the direction of structured forest management and the technology of forest spatial structure adjustment, which is of great significance for optimizing and adjusting forest structure and improving forest quality. The Technical regulations for the investigation and Design of structured Forest Management standardizes the methods, requirements and operation design documents of the investigation and design of structured forest management, and determines the design and requirements of management measures. The compilation of the two standards is based on theoretical research, verified by long-term business experiments, and completed on the basis of extensive consultation. The management idea is advanced, the investigation method is scientific, the technical measure is reasonable, the operation design content is complete, the maneuverability is strong, which accords with the reality of forest management in our country at present. The approval committee unanimously agreed that the standard should be approved.

The theory and technology of structured forest management was established by Huigangying Research team of Institute of Forestry of Chinese Academy of Forestry in 1999 and formally put forward in 2007, including management objectives, theoretical basis, management principles, data investigation and analysis system and structural adjustment technology. Under the support of "Research on Northeast Natural Forest Management Technology based on Spatial structure Optimization", "Experimental demonstration of Restoration and Management Technology of degraded Natural Forest in Southwest mountainous area", "Research and demonstration of Sustainable Forest Management Technology in Northwest and North China", "Forest Management Technology Popularization based on excellent Spatial structure" and other national "Eleventh five-year Plan", "12th five-year Plan" Science and Technology support Project and State Forestry Administration extension Project A large area of experiment, demonstration and popularization was carried out in Korean pine broad-leaved forest, northwest pine-oak mixed forest, southwest broad-leaved mixed forest and coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest in northeast China. At present, more than 100 sample plots for positioning and monitoring per tree have been established, the experimental demonstration forest is 5360 mu, and the extension area has reached 920000 mu. The previous research has achieved a large number of scientific research results and large-scale long-term business experiments have laid a good foundation for the formulation of standards.
