Last Updated: 2024/11/06, There are generally two reasons for succulent rotten roots: if it is caused by a large amount of water, control the amount of water, ensure ventilation, and loosen the soil properly after drying; if it is caused by rain for a long time, it will be pulled out and re-rooted, and the rotten part will be removed and coated with carbendazim to dry, put into the bottle or soil filled with water, and give appropriate light.

1. Mildly rotten roots

1. If the rotten roots caused by excessive watering, it is necessary to control the amount of watering. It is best to let the bottom of the succulent flowerpot be ventilated and let the stagnant water in the flowerpot be drained as much as possible.

2, to ensure proper ventilation, it is best to put it in a ventilated place, if there is no suitable ventilation position, you can use artificial fan method, but pay attention to the time, not too long.

3. Observe whether the basin soil has become dry. If it has become dry, loosen the soil appropriately to see if the soil is too moist. If so, just dry it.

Second, severe rotting roots

1. If there is too much water in the basin soil caused by the rain for a long time, and the rotting root phenomenon is caused, the succulent plant should be pulled out from the soil, its root should be cleaned with water, the rotten part should be removed with tools, and the carbendazim should be smeared on the wound area. Then put it in a ventilated place to dry.

2. Put the processed succulent plant on the bottle buckle and fill it with water, but the succulent root can not touch the water and can also be planted directly in the soil. Put the bottle or potted soil in a place with light, but can not accept exposure, should be properly ventilated, and so on after the root appropriate amount of water on the line, usually 7-20 days will be re-rooted.
