Last Updated: 2024/09/19, There are many reasons for white palm rot: if the watering amount is large, reduce the watering amount and cut off the rotten roots. If the amount of fertilizer is large, then reduce the amount of fertilizer, do not give it too high concentration of fertilizer. If the container is caused by bacteria, it should be cleaned and disinfected in time. If it is caused by long-term water change, it is necessary to change water frequently.

1. Soil culture

1. Reduce watering

Reason: excessive watering to the white palm, it is easy to appear stagnant water, if its roots are soaked in stagnant water for a long time, there will be rotten roots.

Solution: take it out of the basin soil, then cut off the rotten roots, then use hydroponics to let it take root again, and replant it after growing roots. In addition, water must be properly watered at ordinary times, not too much water, and no stagnant water.

2. Reduce fertilization

Reason: many flower friends will often give white palm fertilizer, once a large amount of fertilizer will cause fertilizer damage and lead to rotten roots, or often thick fertilizer, it is also easy to cause rotting roots.

Solution: reduce the amount of fertilizer, do not give it too high concentration of fertilizer.

2. Hydroponics

1. Disinfection of containers

Reason: if the container has bacteria, it will cause the leaves to turn yellow and cause rotting roots over a long period of time. In particular, the wall of the container is covered with moss, this growth environment is very disadvantageous to the growth of white palm.

Solution: clean the container while changing water, or disinfect it properly so as not to let it breed bacteria.

2. Change the water in time

Reason: if the water is not changed for a long time, the water quality will become worse, and there will be a lot of bacteria in the water, which will not only affect the growth of the root of white palm, but also lead to rotting root.

Solution: often change the water, cut off the rotten roots, and disinfect them to avoid secondary decay.
