Summer is coming, and so is the off-season for succulent plants. Everyone listened to the advice of the elders, summer no longer into the meat, a good guard of the existing meat to spend the summer safely. However, some people go on a buying spree when the prices of succulent plants are reduced in the off-season and go on the pot in spite of a high temperature of 35 degrees. Are they novice Xiaobai born not afraid of tigers, or are the great gods confident and courageous? Next, let's take a look at how Niu people have achieved high temperatures in summer without any casualties.

For the succulent plants that have just been bought, the first thing to face is the basin. The pot period of growing meat at high temperature should be especially cautious. In order to get through the potted period safely, first of all, start with the allocation of soil. It is recommended to mix well with 1 granular soil: 1 fine vermiculite, fine vermiculite is easy to sink, so it must be really mixed well, and then potassium permanganate solution is sprayed and sterilized to keep the basin soil in a slightly tidal state.

After the fluvo-aquic soil is put on the basin, it is placed in a light-proof and ventilated environment. On the third day, the water is watered twice along the edge of the basin, and then it is watered every three days until the end of the basin period. Note that it must be well ventilated so that it will not die.

Then, after analyzing the reasons, mixing soil has played a great role. Vermiculite has strong water retention and good air permeability, which can well maintain the humidity of the planting environment and induce succulent plants to take root quickly, but pure vermiculite is obviously not good. Pure vermiculite is too strong. Usually using pure vermiculite will also lead to excessive growth of meat, not to mention the high temperature in summer. The pure granular soil can not root, but the air permeability of the granular soil is very strong, which will bring a lot of air to the root layer, so combine the granular soil with vermiculite, the root layer of the whole succulent plant can maintain a non-stagnant and breathable state, and the fine particles of vermiculite will slowly sink to the bottom of the basin with each watering, which can more effectively protect the new capillaries, and the key vermiculite is sterile.

Even if this kind of soil is exposed to the outside, it will not hurt to be caught in the rain occasionally. However, we should still pay attention to the local climate according to local conditions, the proportion of particles in places with high air humidity is more, and the proportion of vermiculite in dry places is more. In the final analysis, air, humidity and temperature must be harmonious so that succulent plants can be great.

The above is released by small exquisite life, but I would like to remind you that soil is the main factor, but this is based on good ventilation, suitable lighting and other matching factors. If you don't have enough experience, try to stop it in summer!
