Change the basin

The size of the flowerpot of cultured Chinese rose should be commensurate with the plant size, and the flowerpot should not be too small. When the plant grows up to fill the flowerpot with the rhizome, the flowerpot should be replaced in time to meet the needs of the continued development of the rhizome.

When the pot is changed in spring, the plant has already begun to grow. if more of the original pot soil is replaced, the root system will be damaged, which can easily lead to the death of new buds or even the death of the whole plant. Therefore, the pot change should be carried out before the leaf buds sprout.

Root pruning

When changing pots, if the root of the plant is trimmed too heavy, it is difficult to restore its absorptive capacity and break the balance between the aboveground and underground parts, which will also cause plant death.

Branch and leaf pruning

After the flower fade, the upper part of the branch connected to the residual flower should be subtracted in time to promote the early emergence of new branches and re-flowering. If it is found that there are branches with particularly strong growth, they should be cut short properly to avoid consuming too much nutrients and affecting the growth of other branches. When the growth is too dense in summer, it should also be pruned properly.

Watering

During the growing period, the plant consumes more water, coupled with the hot summer weather and rapid water evaporation, so it is necessary to water once every morning and evening to maintain sufficient water. If you encounter a rainy day, you can reduce watering appropriately. But potted rose should be paid special attention not to accumulate water.

Temperature

The winter rose overwintered indoors and could not sleep well because of the high room temperature. by the next spring, before it came out of the room, the leaf buds had already germinated and grown, consuming most of the nutrients stored in the branches. After leaving the room, the buds can not adapt to the changeable climate, can not resist the attack of cold air and cold wind, which is easy to cause plant death.
