Nowadays, more and more friends like to raise some potted plants at home, such as ivy, green pineapple, hanging orchid and so on, which is a good choice, which can not only green the home environment, but also purify the air. In the maintenance process of potted plants, rotten roots and yellow leaves often occur, which not only affect the ornamental effect, but also spend some time on conservation. In fact, in the conservation of plants, the choice of varieties is very important. So, next, I'd like to introduce some good-looking and easy-to-raise potted plants, either in soil or in water. Let's have a look.

1. Asparagus

Soil culture method: the basin soil of asparagus should use fertile sandy loam, which should be warm and humid, rich in rotten branches and good drainage. Generally, it can be prepared in the proportion of 4 parts of garden soil, 2 parts of rotten leaf soil, 2 parts of compost soil and 1 part of sand, and the soil should be changed and fertilized regularly. If excessive fertilization causes "watering the root", it is necessary to pour the pot to remove the fertilizer, irrigate the soil with clean water, and then put it into the new soil for breeding; asparagus is watered too much, the basin soil is too wet, and it is easy to cause root rot and too little watering, which will lead to scorch and yellowing of the leaf tip. Therefore, in the process of watering, it depends on the weather, growth and the dry and wet condition of the basin soil, so that if it is not dry, it will be watered thoroughly. When the weather is hot and dry, water spraying can be used to humidify and cool the leaves, but less watering is needed in winter.

Hydroponic culture method: select the sturdy and well-developed asparagus as the female parent material of hydroponic culture, remove the soil from the flowerpot, wash the soil from the root carefully, remove the rotten root, and cut off part of the old root. Clean the leaves and plants with clean water to avoid damaging the plants. Asparagus takes root slowly, so be careful not to hurt the root of asparagus; fix the washed plant with a planting basket, and let the root fully stretch when fixed; then put the plant together with the planting basket in 1 ‰ carbendazim solution to soak the root for 30 minutes, put it in a cool place, and then proceed to the next step after the root system softens. Load the special nutrient solution of asparagus into the nutrient pool and plant the above-treated plants on the floating board (pay attention to keeping part of the roots exposed to the air). Spraying water to the leaves twice a day, at a suitable temperature of 15-25 ℃, new roots can grow in two weeks, and foliar fertilizer needs to be added every other week. After three to four weeks, the roots of asparagus have regenerated a lot, then we can put on a bottle of still water culture, and it is best to use ceramsite to fix it, even if the water culture is successful.

Second, copper money grass

Soil culture method: potted Rabdosia angustifolia can be operated after the seedling is formed, and the medium-sized flowerpot without drainage hole is often used as the planting container. in order to obtain better ornamental effect, one seedling can be put in each pot and irrigated at the end of the operation. In order to slow down the seedlings, the colonization operation is best carried out on a cloudy day.

Water culture method: the requirement of water quality is not strict, it can be cultivated in fresh water with low hardness, and the salinity should not be too high. The pH of the water body should be controlled between 6. 5-7. 0, that is, it is slightly acidic to neutral. There is a large demand for fertilizer, and topdressing can be done every 2-3 weeks in the vigorous growth stage. If planted in pots or containers, a small amount of fertilizer is needed, such as quick-acting fertilizer-Huabao No.2, or slow-acting fertilizer-magic fertilizer (which can maintain fertilizer effect in water for a long time).

3. Mint

Soil culture methods: peppermint soil requirements are not very strict, except for sand, excessive viscosity, excessive pH and low-lying poor drainage soil, the general soil can be planted, sandy loam, alluvial soil is better. The pH value of the soil should be 6-7.5; peppermint likes the moist soil environment and is more resistant to moisture, especially during the growth period, but the amount of water should not be too large, and waterlogging is strictly prohibited; peppermint as a potted plant is generally cultured in a semi-shady environment, that is, astigmatism rather than direct sunlight. If you put it on the balcony, you can put it at the root of the back sun wall, which can cover part of the sun. if it is indoor breeding, it is best to put it 3-5m away from the Chaoyang balcony and let it be exposed to astigmatism.

Hydroponic method: prepare an empty cup, a plastic cup, porcelain cup, and fill it with tap water; cut a slightly longer branch from the peppermint mother branch, which can be placed for 12 hours to dry the wound, and then cut it into the sand, or you can directly hydroponic culture; hydroponic culture time is chosen in spring and summer when the temperature is high and warm, so it is easy to take root, usually in summer when hydroponics begins to take root for more than a week. In the process of hydroponics, you don't have to change water too frequently, usually once a week. If the base water in the bottle is reduced, you can add water in the right amount, but do not add too much water. At the same time, an appropriate amount of nutrient solution can be added to the water to ensure sufficient nutrients for the growth of mint.

Dryopteris przewalskii

Soil culture method: Dryopteris likes loose, permeable and fertile calcareous sandy loam, and the cultivated soil can be mixed with loam, rotten leaf soil and river sand when potted; Dryopteris likes humid environment and should be fully watered in peak growing season. in addition to keeping the basin soil moist, we should also pay attention to high air humidity and sprinkle water around the plant when the air is dry. Especially in summer, water should be watered 1-2 times a day. If there is a lack of water, it will cause the leaves to shrink. Watering taboo basin soil when dry and sometimes wet, easy to make the leaves yellow.

Hydroponic culture method: first wash the root of the fern, disinfect it with potassium fern, then find a container to add clear water, match it with a proper proportion of nutrient solution (which can be bought on the market), or fix it on the mouth of the container or on the water, the fern should be planted on the coral stone, stick it, and then put the coral stone in the water and grow well after survival. When hydroponic culture, we should pay attention to the coral stone to use water bubble to remove salt, the water should not flood the head of Dryopteris, in order to let the stone grow moss, can not be kept indoors for a long time.
