Of course, fertilizer is indispensable to growing flowers and potted plants. if you ask the people around you, you will find that those who keep green orchids and orchids in pots and blossom orchids and crab orchids for decades are all good at using fertilizer. And to your surprise, the fertilizer they use to grow flowers is not the kind sold in shopping malls, but homemade fertilizer.

Self-made flower fertilizer, to put it bluntly, is to prepare some special fertilizer for growing flowers. Most of these homemade flower fertilizers come from the "garbage" of life.

The first kind: eggshell

There are many advantages of growing flowers in eggshell, because it contains calcium carbonate, which is very beneficial to the growth of plants. But the use of eggshells is also skillful. Before I saw that many of them put egg shells directly on the soil of flowerpots, which is not advisable. It takes a long time for the eggshell to break down, so the fertilizer effect is not very useful. The right thing to do is:

1. Wash the eggshell clean, because it is not cleaned, the egg white left on the eggshell is easy to bring flies, and the summer weather is hot, the smell in the flowerpot is very bad, if serious, the egg white flows into the root system of the flower, because it has not been fermented. It's easy to burn the roots.

2. Mash the eggshell and then blow it in the sun for a long time. The purpose of this is to disinfect the eggshell. If the eggshell is not clean, it is easy to grow bacteria. Harmful to plant growth.

3. Mix the mashed eggshell and potted soil at the ratio of 1:5, so that the potted soil has a lot of nutrients, especially calcium, which is very conducive to the growth of foliage plants. Such as green pineapple, hanging orchid, fortune tree and so on are all suitable for use.

The second kind: fish bones, chicken bones, etc.

Fish bones, chicken bones and so on are good for growing flowers. Bones contain a lot of phosphorus. Phosphorus is a necessary element to keep plant leaves evergreen. The key is to make the yellow leaves green again. I don't know if florists remember that I recommended using potassium dihydrogen phosphate to grow flowers a long time ago because it contains phosphorus.

Raised green radish yellow leaves, rich bamboo yellow leaves, hanging orchid dry tip, black tip, and rich bamboo yellow leaves, and so on, can be alleviated with phosphorus. So in the future, remember not to throw away this kind of bone at home. It's best to grow flowers!

Growing flowers with bones should also be treated before use. First of all, explode the rice, then mash it, make sure of the eggshell, and finally mix it with the soil. Some flower friends may have said that they have to change the soil for the potted plants, isn't it too troublesome? It's all right. You can wait until next spring to change the basin before replacing the new soil. Usually, it can be replaced by "buried". Dig a few small holes in the basin soil and fill in the mashed fertilizer.

The third kind: waste oil in range hood

When cleaning the range hood, you will find that there is more and more waste oil without cleaning for a long time, so many people throw away the waste oil washed regularly. But for florists, this is a treasure! Why do you say that? The nutrients in waste oil are really no less than the fertilizers sold in any kind of flower market. Range hood waste oil mixed with peanut oil, olive oil, soybean oil, corn oil and so on, mixed with a variety of nutrients. Many flower friends do have a great effect on growing flowers.

There is basically no need to deal with the waste oil to grow flowers, just use it directly. First, pour the waste oil into a bottle, which can be a mineral water bottle, and then prick a few eyes with a needle on the bottle cap. On the edge of the pot soil, dig a few small holes and drop the waste oil into it. Drip once or twice a month. All kinds of plants began to grow like crazy.

In addition to the above mentioned several kinds of life "garbage" to grow flowers, there are the rest of the tea, yogurt, rotten bean cakes and so on are used to grow flowers. I don't know what tips flower friends usually have in growing flowers. Welcome to comment below!
