There was a message from a flower friend two days ago. The hydroponic rich bamboo bought in spring has been raised for a few months and began to have yellow leaves again! What are we going to do? Indeed, every spring, many families buy a few rich bamboos for hydroponics. It is clean, lush and pleasing to the eye. However, when you raise it, you will find that various phenomena such as yellow leaves and rotten roots begin to appear in rich bamboos, especially in winter, when you try all kinds of ways, you really can't control the yellow leaves, so you have to throw them away and buy them again in the next spring. Why hydroponic rich bamboo has yellow leaves, there are roughly the following reasons!

1. Water quality problems. Hydroponic culture of rich bamboo is different from soil culture, the root nutrition comes from water. Therefore, the quality of water quality directly determines the growth status of rich bamboo. Because the roots of the newly bought rich bamboo are weak or have not yet grown, in order to promote its rapid rooting after hydroponic culture, a piece of crushed vitamin B12 can be added to the water. In order to ensure the water quality in the hydroponic bottle, it is generally recommended to change the clear water every 3 to 4 days, and it can take root after about 15 days. However, to reduce the number of water changes after rooting, you can also change half of the water every 10 days, and often check the water quality according to different seasons, especially in summer, if you find that the water quality is muddy, you should change it in time to prevent yellow leaves from rotting roots. In order to avoid the rotting roots of yellow leaves caused by turbid water, a small piece of charcoal can be added to the water, which can not be sterilized and disinfected, and can also promote the rooting of rich bamboo. For family culture of rich bamboo in water culture, it is recommended to choose cool white open as the best choice.

two。 Yellow leaves caused by lack of nutrition. Due to the limited nutrition in the water, in order to ensure the adequate nutrient supply of rich bamboo, you can add a few drops of hydroponic nutrient solution in the water, crush a piece of vc and add 500ml water, then drop a few drops in the water culture bottle, or add a small amount of leftover beer, which can effectively slow down the yellow leaves and make the leaves bright and green. Many experienced flower friends will put a small goldfish in a water culture bottle. The waste from the fish is absorbed by the roots of the rich bamboo, and the oxygen produced by the rich bamboo provides the fish with breathing. This is really a good way!

3. Yellow leaves caused by strong light exposure or too dry air. Rich bamboo likes shady environment, strong light exposure will soon make rich bamboo yellow leaves or die, the air is too dry will also make wet rich bamboo can not get enough air humidity dry tip or yellow leaves. The rich bamboo should be placed near the living room or windowsill with scattered light, away from the air outlet of the air conditioner or the area with large radiation, and often spray water to the leaves to moisturize.

4. Iron deficiency yellow leaves. Another important reason for the rich yellow leaves of bamboo is the lack of iron in the water. You can drop the ferrous sulfate solution of 1RU 2000 into a few drops, or put a rusty nail in the bottle (it must be rusty, otherwise it can not only replenish iron, but also pollute the water).

5. Frostbite in winter. This is also the main reason why the rich bamboo of many flower friends cannot survive until spring after winter. Rich bamboo is afraid of cold, especially in hydroponic culture, when the indoor temperature is lower than 10 ℃ in winter, the leaves will turn yellow or rot. Therefore, experienced florists will move the rich bamboo to a warm room in time during the low temperature in winter, or change hydroponic culture to soil culture, or wrap a layer of insulated cotton on the hydroponic bottle, and place the rich bamboo on the sunny window so that it can be exposed to light for several hours a day to prevent frostbite.
